I answered the phone, and the voice on the other end whispered in horror, "Help! I'm getting dragged out of my house by a tall shadowy figure!" The phone then disconnected, but luckily I recognized the voice. I couldn't believe what I just heard! My fam, Kami, prank calling me at 11 PM! Later that night, I was texting my other friend, Amanda, for the homework answers. I was wondering if what Kami said was true, so I texted Amanda asking her if I can text her back in an hour or sooner. I started making my way to Kami's house, that was just a few blocks away from my house. As I started getting closer to her house, I heard bangs and other horrific noises that you don't want to be involved in. Curiosity made me start running for I was just one block away now.
