Chapter 1

This is my oc fanfic and everything belongs to me except Lily which is my friend's oc so please do not steal.

"Amaru! We're going to be late if you don't get out of bed!" My brother said while banging on my door.

I immediately opened my eyes and jumped out of bed. Literally.

Thud!!

I whimpered as I fell on my floor while rubbing my head. I got up and quickly took a 5 min shower (I have the fastest time record, at least that's what I like to think) I dried my hair, brushed it, and scrubbed my teeth until I couldn't stand the minty taste in my mouth anymore.

I threw on my school uniform which was the usual white, long sleeve, button up shirt and either a long or short sleeve thin beige sweater. We got to choose but I usually wore the long sleeve.

We also had to wear a tie/bow in the front and a black or dark navy blue knee length skirt.

I ran to my dresser to grab a hoodie because I usually wore one out of choice, though I've never gotten in trouble for it. I wore it so I could try and blend in and hide from... People... (*shivers and gags*)

And of course of all days, I had forgotten to do my laundry last night so the only hoodie that was there was a black and white panda hoodie with little, black ears on the hood.

I groaned and sighed but I took it anyways. I didn't have time to be picky.

Oh I should probably introduce myself. My name is Amaru (no last name) and I'm a 16 year old high school student at Toshero High School. I have long navy blue hair that goes down a little bit past my shoulders and I have dark brown eyes.

I live alone with my brother, Hope, and he also attends Toshero, but he's 18 so he'll be graduating in the spring. He has bright red hair and brown eyes as well but his are a little lighter than mine.

Our parents were killed in a car accident a few years back so that's why we live alone, but we manage just fine. Alright now back to the story!

I grabbed my bag and the homework I had done last night and bolted down the stairs then finally into the kitchen where my brother was fixing two pieces of toast for our so called "breakfast".

"Morning sleepy head." He said and smiled at me.

"Don't call me that." I said playfully and lightly nudged his arm.

He chuckled a little and nudged me back.

"You're burning it again!" I exclaimed seeing a tiny amount of smoke coming from the toaster.

"Whoops! My bad!" He said and quickly took two pieces of what was once a fluffy piece of bread but was now blackish, dark brown looking tortilla chips. (Lol idek how that came to me but it did 😂)

"Ehh.... Well I guess it's this or nothing." He said and grabbed his piece and bag before heading to the car to start it.

I sighed and pouted a little before going to the cabinet and grabbing a few granola bars as my breakfast/lunch before running out the door as well and hopped into the front passenger seat.
