Prologue

Unknown POV

It was dark out as I surfaced from beneath the waves, I'd traveled many miles as I was now in Tokyo,Japan (I had started in Australia.) It was a good thing it was dark so no one would see me. You see I have a big secret, well two. I'm a mermaid, I have a long tail covered in pretty orange scales and a matching top that went a little below my bust. I also have magical powers, I could freeze, heat/boil, and shape water or other objects, I could also turn invisible if needed. I had my moon ring with me so I have moon magic. I'll bet you're wondering why I'm in Japan, I got cast out off my pod for walking on land and interacting with land people. Here's where that second secret comes in, I'm a half ghoul. I wasn't supposed to be a half ghoul but when I was visiting the land I got into an accident. The surgeon had implanted ghoul organs to save my life. When I got back to the pod, I attacked another mermaid. She smelt so good and I was so very hungry, well you do the math. So here I am the first half ghoul mermaids to ever live. I planned to start a new life here in Tokyo,Japan I heard they have a lot of ghouls, so I should fit right in. My name is Tomiko Suzuki,I have dark brown eyes and shoulder length hair to go with it, I'm about 5'4 with legs, I have lightly tanned skin and I'm sixteen years old. I can name lots of plants, animals, and cities worldwide, I also speak 11 different languages. So now that I'm here I should start settling in and get ready for school next week, I think I'm going to a place called Ouran Academy.
