Gilmore girls, the third Lorelai

The dress

"LORELAI!! LORELAI!!"

"What do you want mother?!!"

"Hurry up! Do you absolutely have to take all the time in the world to put on a simple dress!"

"Just a minute mom!" Lorelai said with a sigh.

Why do my parents have to be so controlling! Ugh! I can't believe there making me take this stupid family photo. She thought. Her phone started ringing so she picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi!"

"Oh hi Chris, what's up?"

"I was wondering if you would like to do something."

"I'd love to but I'm stuck at the house. My parents are making me take a stupid family photo and to add to everything, my dress doesn't even fit!"

"Must suck"

"Yeah, anyway I've got to go before my mom catches me on the phone."

"Bye"

"Bye!"

She put her phone away and at that moment her mom comes storming in.

"What is taking you so long?!" Her mother yelled.
"It won't fit!"
"What?!"
"The dress, it won't fit!"
"Really? I can't believe Rosalina got the size wrong! You know, I've never liked her!"
"What are you talking about mom?! You love Rosalina! It's Georgia that you hate."
"Right, oh, well not anymore."
"Whatever mom"
"Emily!" Called her dad from downstairs.
"What is it Richard?" She answered.
"What's taking so long?"
"Lorelai's dress doesn't fit." She answered while exiting the room.

She took off the dress and changed back into my normal clothes. She thought about calling Christopher but then decided just to watch tv. While she turned on the television she thought about how the dress didn't fit. It wasn't just the dress. Her parents didn't know this but a lot of her clothes didn't fit lately. She didn't know why. She was always someone who always ate a lot. But she was also always able to maintain her almost perfect figure.

She watched tv for a while before it hit her. The reason. But could it be? She turned off the tv and thought about it a little more. Could she really be, pregnant! She went through what she new in her head. She had only done it with Chris a couple times and they had always been careful. But weirdly the other day she had craved an apple. An APPLE. Lorelai wasn't known for being very healthy and she rarely ever ate any fruits or vegetables. But this was really happening, what would she do. How could she tell Chris. How could she tell her parents!! She knew they would be embarrassed that there only child was pregnant! And Richard and Emily where people who really cared about what other people thought. And rich snotty people like their friends and themselves lived to gossip. What if they kicked her out! Would that really be a bad thing? She hated it here anyways. Yes, it was a really really big house and yes she a lot of cool stuff. But she hated it. She and Christopher were planing on backpacking through Europe when they graduated. She was so excited to be finally getting out of this town and going far away. But this would ruin it all. She decided that she was getting carried away. She didn't know for sure. She calmed down and decided to call Christopher and invite him to a movie that night. After the movie she would tell him she had to run an aran and would pick up a pregnancy test and hide it in her purse when she got home.
