Have you ever been in love? More importantly, with someone who doesn't even know your there. Well this is what this story is about. My name is Barker I'm 18 and
I'm in 12th grade. The name of the girl I'm in love with is Oliver she is funny, cute, and wonderfully weird. In other words she's perfect for me, but my biggest problem is that barely anyone knows who I am. This kid named Bow, who is in my 4th black class didn't even know what I sounded like.
My friend Steve and I had just gotten to school and we were heading for the locker area to put her card in her locker. In the mornings we are supposed to go to the gym till the first bell rigs, but the teachers will make an exception on Valentine's.
In fifth block
In fifth block I sit next to Oliver, now I'm not one of those people
that sit and stare at the person there 'in love with', cause that would be crazy.
"Barker" the teacher called
Oh, I hate it when the teacher calls out my name.
"The base and height of the square A= 13x4" I say quietly, yet loud enough for the teacher to hear.
"Yes, the first one to get it on the first try all day" she said
"Good job Barker" Oliver said, after that everyone started clapping.(great)
I was so embarrassed that I put my hood up and almost literally shrunk down onto my seat.
After school
Stave and I were walking to the buses we had just gotten out of school.
"AAAAAA" I screamed I had tripped and fallen on something.
"Oh sorry, but could you get off your really heavy" a voice said.
When I opened my eyes I saw that I was laying right on Oliver.
"Here let me help, sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" she apologize
"No, completely my fault I refuse to let someone else take the blame for my clumsiness." I reply
"Actually I was looking for you"
"Me" I said awkwardly
"Yeah....... I was wondering if you could tutor me" she said obviously embarrassed
"Sure" I said "great , you can come to my house tomorrow bus 56" she said with a smile and ran off to the car rider line.
"What was that, has my little Barker got himself a date" Stave said coming out of no where
"No, a tutoring session" the smile you could hear through my voice.
