Back to the Mountain chapter 5

Ashley POV

"The Mountain haunts me" Mike said as we head up the mountain in the cable car. "Ya I am a little scared though" I said my voice shaky. "It's okay Ash we will be okay" Chris said holding my hand. "Ya...." Sam said trailing off. We reached the top of the mountain and got out of the cable car and went to the door. Mike opened it softly. You could see the dear in his eyes. "Mike we will be okay we will get Josh then we will leave" Chris said noticing Mikes fear. "We will all be okay...." Sam said sounding more like she was reassuring herself more than Mike. I was still clinging to Chris's hand. "I love you" Chris whispered in my ear. "I love you too" I say a little blush on my face. "I love you more!" Mike said. He must of heard us. Sam punched him in the arm. "Ow" Mike said with a pouty face. "The weally hurt" Mike said with a goofy voice. Me and Chris just walking blush on out faces. No need to hide our blush anymore. "Wait guys do we even have a plan" Everyone stopped walking. "Um....no." Mike said. "Uh" Chris said. "Sam got any ideas?" I said shyly. "No....but we could try the mines first that is where the wendigo lives" Sam said sounding a little confident. "Anything is better than nothing." I said. "Are we sticking together or splitting up?" "NO!" I yelled. "Um....sorry....I just...uh...don't want to lose anyone" I said quietly shoving my face in my hands. I was looking like I was keeping it together but I really wasn't. Sam walked over to me and hugged me tightly. "Hey its okay we don't have to split up." "We can split up but into groups...if that's okay?" Mike said. "Ya...ya that's...that's fine." I said getting a hold of myself again.
