Chapter 2

*next day*

*they both get ready for school*
*but they don't know they go to the same school yet*

Sophia's P.O.V

*gets to school and goes to locker to get things and goes straight to her class*

Mrs. Dodson: OK class what we have to do today is continue your landscapes and free draws. So everyone go ahead and get materials and get started.

*gets up and gets her papers and starts to draw*

Maurice's P.O.V

*walks in the class late and trys to sneak in the back without
Mr.Rivera knowing*

Mr. Rivera: Maurice. Why do you think you can just sneak into my class without getting seen?

I don't know sir it won't happen again.

Mr. Rivera: That's what has been said for the past few weeks. Maurice your running out of excuses. *turns around and continues teaching the glass about the experiment*

*starts playing around with the different chemicals in front of him*

Mason: *whispers to him* Man your going to get in trouble and blow something up if you keep playing around.

*shrugs his shoulders and continues messing around*

*next thing happens is he mixed some chemical and it exploded*

Mr. Rivera: Maurice, already getting in trouble! Everyone move away he needs to clean up his mess!

Mrs. Dodson: *runs across the hall to Rivera's room*
Is everything okay in here? We heard a loud noise.

Mr. Rivera: oh that was just Maurice he decided it was okay to play around with the chemicals. *gives him a scowl*

*slumps down in his seat*

Mrs. Dodson: I can get a few of my students to help clean up.

Mr. Rivera: Thank you

Mrs. Dodson: no problem *walks back to her class*
Ok I need Sophia, Hunter, and Elizabeth. Mr. Rivera needs help with a mess one of his students made.

*gets up and walks over to his class*

Mr. Rivera we were told you needed help with a mess.

Mr. Rivera: Yes, Maurice in the back made a mess with chemicals.

*hears his name and shyly smiles and all three walks back to start cleaning*

Hey aren't you the girl I saw at the mall yesterday?

Yep that would be me.

I didn't know you went here.

Me either. Well I'm really quiet anyways so nobody notices me anyways.

*smirks* Well I'm glad I noticed you. So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?

*thinks to herself* we just met but he seems nice. It will be a one time thing have some fun.
Uh yeah sounds good. I'll just meet you outside in the front.

Alright sounds good I'll see you later then.

*smiles and finishes cleaning*
Mr. Rivera we finished cleaning.

Mr. Rivera: Thank you very much for all your help.

No problem *all three walk back to class and wash their hands and continue on their projects*
