CHAPTER-23
After an amazing date we get back to Jonas house.Pulling in driveway Joe hopp out of car,he came my side n took my hand in his.
''So what is the surprise that u r hiding from me?'' I asked
''It's inside so come along,my familyis waiting they wanted to be here for this'' he replied
''What for?'' I asked as we walked inn just Nick's booming laughter came from living room. We made our way there.Joe told me to wait there n went to do something upstairs god knows what.
''Hey how was ur date?'' Nick asked wiggling his eyebrows.IDblushed knowing what he is talking about.
''Perfect'' I said glancing around the living room.
Joe was right when he said ''family is waiting'' he meant everyone. Everyone was there including Danielle even Elvis was there too. Sure she is a part of the family bt I didn't expect her in this surprise.
''So how r u Danielle?'' I asked smiling
''Great. Spent time with Kevin n baked some chocolate chip cookies with mom'' she replied smiling on ''mom'' word looking over Denise. I wish I can say mom too.Mom is really a foreign word for me on lips,sometimes I missed my mom so much that I locked myself in bedroom for hours to clear my head.
''Oh that's awesome if I get my cookies'' I pouted.
''Haha I'll get it for u'' she went to kitchen
''I hope Joe behaved like a gentleman'' Paul said referring my date
I chuckled ''oh yes very much''
Danielle came back with cookies n I immediately take them from her n gave everyone a warning look to not dare to touch MY cookies what! I love chocolate chip cookies. Just asI was bout to bite a cookie,a video started on TV which was hanging over on my right side wall. It was a home video.I instantly recognise the video.
It was 1 of Joe's n mine childhood video when we were around 7 years.Joe came to me n stand beside me wrapping his left hand around my waist after playing the video.I look at him confused bt he just nodded in the direction of TV soI looked back at screen.
The video had started n now playing where I wounded my left knee, falling from swing n Denise was analysing it bt Joe came between me n her asking me if am I hurting? N I said yes so kneeled beside me.He took his index finger n middle finger together to his lips kissing them n then touched my wound with those fingers lightly n asking if now am I hurting?.I said no smiling at him.
Anybody can say that those kids love each others just by looking in their eyes I know its sounds crazy coz they r just little kids bt it's true they love each other n looking backin Joe's eyes now anyone can say that he still loves me n maybe moren I'm sure my eyes says the same.
I looked back at screen which was showing now where me,Joe,Kevin nNick got our ice-cream bt excidentlyJoe dropped his so I gave him mine knowing that I love ice-cream bt seeing Joe sad I gave him all mine. Iknow normally kids would share in 1 bt I gave all just to see him happyagain.He asked me to share bt I liedsaying I was not in mood of it so hecan eat all.
I smile watching through the wholevideo. There r so many little things we did for each other. We were not just caring each other from the beginning bt also loving each other from the beginning n after watching all this again my heart swells with happiness n pure love for him more.
