Rapunzel, Repunzel, Let Down Your Hair

Her hair was long
And she sang a song
As she dreamt of leaving the tower

She'd paint and read and sing
And clean and dust everything
Until her mother came back that hour

Her mother's eyes were black
And her smile did lack
The warm and tender love

She acted kind
But mother never did find
The pure heart of a dove

Rapunzel had not mothers looks
Nor her lack of education and books
No characteristic they did share

But silly Rapunzel had no belief
That her mother was a thief
Who stole her from the queen for Repunzel's hair

She was a princess
Beautiful and smart; nothing less
Who belonged on a golden thrown

She had no idea of her past
But that wouldn't last
For she left the tower with Flynn Rider

He was tall and pale
And was tough as nails
But he really wasn't a fighter

The adventure took place
And Repunzel soon came face to face
With the beautiful lanterns on her birthday

Repunzel realized her mother had lied
And Eugene almost died
But everything worked out in a way

Her magic hair was cut
But Eugene's wound in his gut
Got healed but a magic tear

And the princess was reunited with her family
And the world was in perfect harmony
As Eugene married her the next year!!!
