-May's POV-
I walk down the road towards my house feeling really happy. Although knowing that working with Drew is going to be hard, it'll be kinda fun! I've always wanted to get to know Drew more, so this'll be great! I wonder if Drew noticed my new style.. I thought I should change my look a bit since, I didn't wanna wear the colors red anymore. It reminded me too much of Ash, and since he left without breaking a sweat... I shouldn't either. I sigh, Ash helped me out so much.. Why'd he want to leave so fast? Did he not like me.. I look down at the sidewalk. My thoughts and dreams have always revolved around that stupid raven haired boy, why was he so important! He was just a boy that helped me out once. That's it. Right? Wrong.. Ash probably already has a new friend companion. He sent me a picture of this so called 'new' girl. She's also a coordinator or what those preppy girls call them, 'Performers'. I think her names Serena, he mentions her a lot when I letter him or Text him. I take out my phone, and look down at the picture he sent me of her and him. They both were sitting next to each other happily drinking a glass of lemonade. Disgusting. Her long honey hair doesn't even look cute, and she's too nice for a hot shot like Ash. She's probably just using him or something. Why am I getting so upset about this? Grrrr, I'm getting so mad right now! I walk down my street and towards my house, as I open the door to the small but gentle house,  my brother Max smiles up at me. "Hey May!" He greets. I grit my teeth not in the mood to talk, "Hi." I say walking up the stairs. I slam the door to my room shut and throw my bag against the room as I flop down on my bed. My phone begins to ring eagerly, so I answer. "Hello?" I try to sound like I'm not pissed. "Hey.. I'm outside your house.." Drew stated awkwardly. Me being frustrated I kinda snapped, "What the hell! Just ring the freaking door bell! Maybe then I'll go get the freaking door!" I slam the end button on my phone and flopped back down on my welcoming mattress. After about two minutes, I hear the door bell ring. "Max get the door!" I yelled from my room. In a swift moment I hear Max swing the door open and talk to Drew a bit, then about another moment hard stomps could be heard meaning that someone was coming up here. I heard three gentle knocks on the door, causing me to roll the blankets over my head. "Come in.." I sighed as I kept the blanket on my head. Drew walked in and sat down on my bed next to my legs, he stayed quiet for a few minutes. "Hey May... If your upset about being my partner, I can just become partners with someone else..." He whispered. Through my covers I saw him look down to his feet. I sigh, "Drew... Have you ever had someone really important in your life... And they leave...?" I asked weakly, holding back my tears. Drew nodded in response, "I had a best friend once.. And I kinda.. Liked her... But... She moved on..." He stated. I slowly moved the covers from my eyes and look at Drew. "What was her name?" I asked curiously. Drew sighed, "She was a sweet girl named Serena.. And come to think of it... She's with Ash.. She completely forgot about me.. But she's liked Ash forever... So I was just a bump in the road." I suddenly felt really bad for Drew. "Drew, I'm sorry.." I whisper. Drew turned to me and smiled, "it's okay, It's been a while so it doesn't matter anymore." I reached out my hand and touched his laying it down on his. "Ya. Me too." Drew nodded understanding what I was saying and smiled. I smiled back and making my other hand into a fist. "Let's show them we are the best pair!" Drew nodded his cheeks turning crimson and made his other hand into a fist, "Ya!" We fist pumped and laughed a bit before getting up off my bed. I sat down on the floor and Drew sat in front of me, I grabbed my note book and placed it in between us. "Okay, so tomorrow we can go get the outfits, and the day after that we can work on The genie dance for three days, then move to New Orleans? Then the beach! Then start over again and practice like that?" I suggested. Drew nodded, "Ya sounds good, but we need to sort out our Pokemon and get them to become friends so they can work together. Then it'll be a lot easy for them to work together and your plan will work." Drew stated. I grabbed my Poke Balls, "Kay, let's do that now then!" Drew scratched the back of his head, let's do this outside just so if they don't like each other, they don't mess up your room.." He chuckled looking around my room, "although it kinda looks bad already.." I pouted, "Watch it Grasshead!" I screech, jumping up and running down the stairs. Drew ran after me, chuckling to himself. We ran in the backyard as i threw my Poke balls in the air, "Come out friends!" Blaziken, Beautifly, Skitty, Venusaur, Munchlax, Wartortle, and Glaceon  all came out and smiled widely at me. Drew smirked, and threw his Poke Balls up, "Come on out guys!" He shouted. Roserade, Masquerain, Flygon, Absol, and Butterfree all came out looking tough. My Beautifly flew up to Drew's Butterfree and they flew around with each other smiling and having fun. "Hey Drew look they become friends!" I smiled. Drew nodded and smiled, "let's let them play while we go think of ways we can do the performances" we both look at each other and nodded before leaving our pokemon together.
