I'll Be Your Saviour

Chapter One

My parents sent me to go and see who's swimming near our home. I swam up and peeked around a rock. In the water were four boys, and a fifth standing on the shore. They looked supernatural, but I'm not sure. His friends picked him up and carried him out deep, then dropped him. A few minutes passed and he didn't come back up. His friends started calling for help. No one really lives around here, so I guess I have to help. I dived in and flicked my tail trying to get there faster.

When I got there I saw that his foot was stuck under a rock. I moved the rock up off his foot and told him to swim up. He shook his head no. Great, he can't swim. I grabbed both of his arms and swam up. As we came up to the surface he started to gasp for air.

"Thank you for saving me." He said gratefully, then kissed my cheek.

"No problem, you better get back to your friends, they look worried." I said. He nodded, then shouted at them. I went back under water, and with a flick of my tail I was gone.

"Who was on the beach?" My father asked as I swam into the throne room.

"Five boys." I answered him.

"Any of them in the water?"

"Yes, four of them were. They then dragged their friend in, he almost drowned but I saved him." Father nodded.

"Well, it's getting late. You should go up on the beach now."

I did as I was told and swam back to the beach. I poked my head above the water and no one was in site. I dragged myself onto the beach and started to dry my tail. I have a few powers, I can control the weather, and heat things up. Soon my tail disappeared and I got my legs. I walked up to the bottom of the cliff. I put my hand on one of the rocks, and a few seconds later a door opened. It blends perfectly in so no one can see it. I walked into my room and closed the door.

I grabbed a pair of pyjamas and set them on my bed. I walked into my bathroom to take a shower. I sat on the stool I have in there and turned on the water. Few seconds later I had my tail again. I washed my hair, body and tail. I turned the water off, grabbed a towel and butt scooted to my bed. I started to used my towel to dry my tail but it was taking forever, so I used my heating ability. I put on my pyjamas, crawled into bed and just laid there. I didn't fall asleep till like three hours later.
