The Giant Fairy

There was a fairy who was tiny. She smaller than any other fairy. Her name was ' Snowflake'. Her only wish was to be as tall as the other fairies. At midnight every night she would wish upon the brightest star.

"Please shiny star I want to be big," she begged. One night while she was wishing, the man in the star replied, "I will grant your wish because you asked me so often."

With that he said," Your wish is my command I will make you the size of a human. Poo Poo doodle doo!"

Instantly she was the size of you and me. It was still after midnight so she decided to go to sleep but her house was to small.

"Where am I going to sleep?" she said quietly. There was nowhere to sleep so she slept on the green grass. When she awakened, she felt very cold and hungry. Her teeth were chattering. Snowflake could not eat the fairy food so she ate the big, red berries and drank from a stream. Suddenly she remembered she had a tea party with her friend, Buttercup. When she got to her home, Buttercup screamed in fright and ran away. Seing the outcome of being big, she wished to be back to normal that night. She cried and cried and wished and wished. After a while Starman felt sorry for her and said,"My,My! You are the size of a human but now you will be normal again. She shrinked and shrank. Snowflake was grateful to the Man in the Star and all her friends weren't afraid of her anymore.
