"Run!! It's going to eat us! Run for your lives!"
"He's not going to hurt you! he's friendly and harmless! Listen to me!"
Aaaarrrrgh!!
"Stop! Maybe we should listen! He hasn't hurt us yet. If he wanted to, he could have. Maybe he IS harmless."
"You're crazy! Its a dragon! Name one time that you have ever heard of a DRAGON being harmless! Plus, dragons aren't even supposed to be real! They're just a myth! Get that through your thick skull!"
"Look, dragons do exist and have always exsisted. They have been hiding because we humans used to hunt them down and kill them just for fun. They almost went extinct because of us. We have to help them!"
"What the boy says is true. Long ago the humans did hunt us down and almost killed us all. Only a small handfull survived. We were able to grow in numbers, but we are still weak. I am only 1 of the few remaining original survivors. There are more dragons hiden all over the world. We can only come out and eat at night, but we have managed to grow without being discorerev. I have been sent to seek out someone who will help us make it possible that our races can co-exsist. i have found 1, but I still need more."
Everyone around the dragon was astonished that the dragon could actually talk out loud like a human. They all stood with their mouths wide open and gwaked at the dragon who was now smiling. A minuet or two passed before anybody said a word or moved a muscle. Finally a voice came up from the back of the room.
"How do we know if you're lieing to us or not? Why should we believe you?"
"Because a dragon with a noble heart, can't lie. It goes against everything that is good."
"In all the books I've read, none of them mention this. In fact, they say that dragons lie to humans all the time in order to coax them into giving them all of their valuables, like jewels and gold."
"Do you believe in everything that you read in those little books of yours? Are you that impressionable as to believe what they say? 90% of the time, they are wrong about us."
"Give us one reason why we should help you!"
"I have none. Choose to believe me or choose to write me off as a daydream or nightmare, I don't care. If you do want to help though, you can get to me through the boy here."
