Forgotten

How?

We arrive at the hospital and I decide to talk to the doctor to see what he the hell is up with him.
"It seems that he has had some form of memory loss. We have checked his records and he was in mercy hospital 2 months ago" she says
"What why?!" I ask
"Didn't you know?" She asks
"No why was he in hospital?!" I demand
"He was in a car accident, we thought he wouldn't make it. He is lucky to be alive. A car crashed into the side of his" she answers
"Where was this?" I ask
She looks through her clipboard papers.
"It says here he was crashed into on 54th street, by a block of a apartments.
That's my street. My apartment. Why was he there?
"Erm. Thank you" I answer
I open door and walk over to Elliot's hospital bed. He is still sleeping.
I sit down next to him.
I was such an ass earlier.
"I'm sorry" I whisper "I'm so sorry"
He is mumbling something.
"Liv..."
"Yeah el. I'm here" I say re assuring him
"Liv.. I.." He mumbles again
"It's okay el" I say, I put my hand on his
"I.. Love you" he mumbles
What?! He what?!
His eyes flutter.
"Liv!" He practically yells
"Yeah el. It's me" I answer
"Liv, I'm sorry. I was an ass earlier" he says
I laugh a little.
"It's okay el. So erm.. What's the last thing you remember?" I ask
"Well we had just write our DD5s. And I took you out for drink for your birthday, then we went back to your apartment to eat Chinese food" he says
"Okay, I'll be back in a minute" I say.
I stand up and walk back over to the doctor.
"He has just woke up. And he seems to have forgotten what happened this morning. I asked him the last thing that he remembers and he said something that happened five years ago" I explain
"Okay. Well we are going to keep him under observation because he has obviously lost a few years of his memory" she replies
"Well when will he remember again?!" I ask
"It depends, we could try to jog his memory, but if that doesn't work, we can't do anything" she answers
"What?! You can't get his memory back? How am I supposed to tell him that he doesn't woke with me anymore" I say
"I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do. You can try to jog his memory, but we can't do anything more" she says as she walks away.
He doesn't remember anything. He remembers something that happened five years ago! He thinks we are still partners! He doesn't know about me with Brian. Me breaking up with Brian. What happened with ...William Lewis, What happened in the town house, with Joe and Roxy! He doesn't know about Noah! How am I going to explain all of this to him?
