The original Zombie Apocalypse

Chapter 1: A regular day?

The school day passed quickly, at least until lunch. "I feel so hungry" I say to mark is we walk down the hall to the lunch room. His real name was marcos, but I like to give nicknames, if regular names are to long. "I'm pretty hungry too" He replies. We had math, and a bit of English Language arts in the morning, and going to finish after lunch. As we get to our table we all sit down. Me and Mark brought lunch. Lunch passed by quickly, then after we had recess, my favorite part of the day. I walked next to my friend and said "In 2 years we won't have this anymore." He nodded, in his head middle school was close by and everything would change. After recess out class went to our room. I felt lucky to have most of my friends in the same classroom. It was 1:20, time felt going slower by the second. school ended at 3:00 meaning we had an hour and 40 minutes. About 10 minutes later an announcement came. The voice was our principle she sounded in a panic and said "LOCK DOWN THIS IS NOT A DRILL...NOW" We took the warning then she spoke "there is a .....OMB......APOC......PSE" none of us heard the last part it, it was only static. The she spoke "IF EMERGENCY GETS BAD THEN......... AWAY!" then there was screams of misery then it clicked off.Everyone was in the state of shock and froze, then blood splattered on the window spooking everyone. It was chaos in just our classroom at that point. 2 people fell on the floor and fainted from everything going on. The teacher tried to get everyone calm but the chaos was to great. I was standing still, then looked at mark. Then I said "it an apocalypse."
