 Ella was thoroughly enjoying herself until Blake came strutting up. Ella looked up at Adrian, and seen the pain and hurt in his eyes.

I'm supposed to be his girlfriend, Ella thought. What would a girlfriend do?

Ella placed her hand against his cheek, and lightly kissed him on the mouth.

Adrian looked down at her with a slight smile. Well, he did until Blake spoke.

"Hey man, look all that shit that went down the other day wasn't my fault. Annie is just another whore, yah know?" Then he looked down at Ella, and whistled. "Helloooo beautiful. Hey Adrian, you gonna share?" 

Adrian looked down at her, and his face was stone hard. His eyebrows bunched up, and he looked like he was deep in thought.

"Nah man. Shes just some slut I picked up." Ella's heart broke at that. Wha... What?

Tears filled her eyes, and pushed people out of her way, and strode through the front door.

Tears blurred her vision as she ran down the street, and into the night.

Thunder boomed across the sky, and lightening flashed, lighting her tears streaked face.

She should have known he would get rid of her as soon as he deemed finished with her.

Fat drops of rains started pouring down on her, and she took off her heels, letting them dangle in one hand as she walked alone in the downpour.

Suddenly, a sleek red Corvette pulled up. Josh stepped out of the car, and strode over towards her. She just stood there, staring at him, with eyeliner streaks on her pale alabaster cheeks.

He swooped her into a hug. It was the last thing she expected from him, but she was glad for it.

She quickly hugged him back.

"I shouldn't have trusted him." She whispered into his shoulder.

"No, he shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry. Let me take you home." He put a arm under her legs and swooped her up into his arms.

Ella gaped at him. He just chuckled.

He placed her into the passenger side of the car and then hopped into the drivers side.

Ella was shivering, the cold seeming to bite into her bones. Josh reached into the back seat and grabbed one of his jackets. 

He tucked it in around her, and with a quick smile towards her, drove her home.

When he pulled into the drive way he got out and opened the door for her. 

She looked up at his face, the steams of water running down his face, and dripping off his lip ring.

He lowered his head, and brushed his lips across hers, before applying gentle pressure.

"Ella, I know your secret." He whispered.

I know its short, but i couldnt really think of anything else to put in at the moment. besides i wanted the chapter to end on that note. So whats up with Adrian? and josh?
