Chapter 9

Rosie's P.O.V
Jacob texted me this morning to say he was going to kayla's cabin. I ignored it I have to forget about him his career is on the line. I get dressed and go out to explore the boat a bit more. I'm on the main deck again and I see William across the other side, I go up to him:

R: hey will
W: how are you Rosie
R: I'm good, I just realised we never swapped numbers?
W: oh yeh mine is ....
R:thanx

*Rosie gets a text*

It was Jacob he says he will be at my cabin in 5 minutes, see you around will my mum needs me back.
"Oh okay.. Erm see ya round then.. I guess"

Jacobs P.O.V
I left Kayla's cabin and texted Rosie I will be back at her cabin in 5. This is a lie. I'm going to suprise her but hiding in her bed. I get to her cabin it's open like I thought it would be, she really shouldn't do that. Anyway I go to her bed and I just lay there, I out my hands under the pillow because it's comfortable and I feel something. I pull it out, it's a letter. I read it, I probably shouldn't but I did.

Rosie,
I didn't know how to tell you about my feelings so I wrote them down instead, I love you to the moon and back you are the most beautiful girl on the planet and I will never leave you for the world, you mean everything to me and without you I would be useless. I feel complete when I'm with you and only you make me feel this way. I love you so much.

I'm shocked, she can't have a boyfriend. She will have an explanation for this. I can't ask her though otherwise she will know I read the letter, probably get mad at me then never go out with me ever! I just look at the letter. I need to find out who Charlie is before I ask her out or anything because I don't want to look stupid. She opens the door and walks over to the bed.
"Jacob you can't be in there"
"Why do u hate me all of a sudden"
"Jacob, you know we can't hang out, Kayla won't delete the picture"
"Good job I deleted it already then"
She just looks at me confused
"Really?"
"Yeh"
She pounces on me and starts giggling, she looks so happy, do I really make her that happy?

Rosie's P.O.V
He deleted it, I'm so happy! Now I can finally show her m how I feel about him. I pounce on him and smile I just lay there with him but I can't help but notice his smile is crooked. I ask him what's wrong. He looked at me and asked me about Charlie. I wasn't mad he read the note to be honest. I just looked at him I could feel my eyes starting to water,  I told myself not to cry, my heart started pounding I could hardly speak. He's my ex... Jacob just looked at me we were starring each other in the eye and he just came close to me and hugged me. He held me tight he didn't let go he lay down on the bed and pulled me close to him wrapping his arms around me. It will be okay everything will be okay Rosie.

Jacobs P.O.V
Her ex. I'm not worried she still likes him because Ik it's hard getting over someone. It never funny happens till u find happiness in something els, so I'm going to be that happiness. I'm gonna take care of her and she's going to be mine, best friends of in a relationship.
