We will survive

It was the year 2016. The day that we graduated. I was sitting next to my best friend Sky and then next to her was Cassy. A few rows back was my other friend Malissa. Over in the parents section of the gym was my mother, Shane, Dylan and Savannah. A little further away was my father, Danielle, Dustin, Angel and Ryan.

Everything was going well. We had all received our diplomas and they were going on with the speeches. All of a sudden infected people came barrelling through the door attacking people. Seeing this I took to action grabbing a nearby chair and hitting the infected until they were dead. I look around and see several people get attacked by the infected trying to fend them off.

I'm on the choir bleachers that are by the exit of the gym scanning over the crowd of living and infected people and see my family and friends trying to hold them off while others took and tried to barricade the exit of the school so no more could get in. I looked over at Cassy and saw that she was infected by one of the infected and now after Malissa.

"Malissa, watch out behind you !" I yelled out to her.

After I had yelled, Melissa took the chair that was in her hands and swung it as hard as she could and killed the infected Cassy. Almost all of my fellow graduates had died due to them becoming one of the infected. I looked back over at the door and saw that it was finally barricaded but we still had to deal with the infected in the building. So I jumped off the choir bleachers and started to kill the zombies hitting their heads off one by one by one til there was no more left leaving the floors covered in blood, guts and dismembered parts of the zombies.

" Once everyone is done barricading the doors, go into the fifth grade hallway and meet me in the third classroom," I yelled to everyone.

Once in the room I barricaded the windows and moved the desks so that there was room to fit a lot of people into the room. After that was done about seventeen people walked into the room. I noticed that a lot of their clothing was ripped and some looked scared. I looked around and noticed they were all people that I knew. There was my mom, Shane, Dylan, Savannah, dad, Danielle, Dustin, Angel, Ryan and eight others. Five of the people that came in were young children that were younger than thirteen that survived. I look over at Blake and saw her clutching her two crying sisters trying to comfort them. I walked over and kneeled down to their level and hugged all three of them. After what seemed like minutes I let go and stood back up. When I did that Lindsay grabbed onto my leg and held on. I bent down and lifted Lindsy up and carried her to the center of the room.

" Lilly what's going on? What were those things?" Summer asked me loud enough so everyone could.

I looked at everyone and noticed that they were all looking at me waiting for an answer so I said" I don't know what's going on but those things looked like zombies. If there was that many than there are sure to be more just beyond the exits of the schools. If these zombies are just like how i've read in books the only way to kill them is with weapons,"

Sky had raised her hand and said," But where are we going to get weapons?"

" That my dear friend, I have handled already. How many of you brought your cars?" I asked.

"how does having cars have to do with the zombie attack?" Summer asked

" Well, my lovely friend, it means that we can get to a place where I know for sure zombies can't get us," I said

With that said five people raised their hand those people were my mom, dad, Danielle, sky and Malissa. So I calculated that out and i figured that it would be four cars of three and one car of four.

" Okay so there will be four to a car except one which will have three and our objective is to get to my house and then into the shed that is in the backyard," I said.
