Its been months since my sisters passing. But it still feels as though it happened yesterday. I feel so lost and empty. I began to cry every night and my mom did too. She comes in my room late one night..
"Sweetheart?" I hear my moms voice from outside the door. I quickly wipe away my tears and go to my door breathing in deeply as I open my door.
"Yeah ma?" I look at her puffy red eyes and instantly embrace her in a hug as we both break down.
"Mom I-I miss her. I miss her s-so much I-I c-can't stand it." I cry choking on my words.
"I know sweetheart I know but mommy is here don't worry I will protect you with my life you know that." My mom calmly states.
"I know, mom, can you sleep in here tonight?" I ask sniffling.
"Of course sweetheart, but I also have somegood news for the both of us." My mom softly states as we lift the blankets.
"What is it momma?"
"Well, earlier at work I received a phone call from the construction company, the house is ready and we can move in whenever, I called the moving company and they will be here tomorrow at 11:30."
"Thats great news, oh my I am so excited." I laid down next to my mom and fell asleep quite easily. I was excited to start new, although nothing could eer replace the memories of my father and sister.
I woke up the next morning and my mom was gone, I looked at my phone and seen it was noon which means I needed to start packing some personal things. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, my hair was pulled into a messy bun and I was in my pajama pants and cut off from track. My mom knocks and I open the door for her.
"Goodmorning Sweetheart."
"Morning mom"
"Someone slept in a bit, eh?"
"Yeah, I slept great for once."
"Me too, the movers have the whole basement cleared, they are working their way up from there."
"Alright, I was going to pack someof my personal things that are fragile, and put them in my trunk."
"Okay hun" She kissed my forehead before leaing the room
I sighed and walked to my room, changed into some skinny jeans and my Walking Dead Tanktop. Then I grabbed some boxes from my moms closet and started packing my personal items. I wrapped newspaper around my picture frames, and put them in boxes. After what felt like hours my mom walks in with Jimmy Johns and hands me my sandwhich. I look at my clock and it is 3:30, and I am finally packed. After finishing my sandwhich my mom tells me its time to go and to follow her and the moers will follow me. I get in my car, put my sunglasses on and start our journey to our new house.
My mom wouldnt let me see what the house looked like so I am kind of excited to see it. I turn on my radio and the song Oath by Cher Lloyd is playing, that was me and my sisters song. MY eyes water and I begin to sing. This is going to be a long journey. I looked up at the sky,
"Dad, Alex, if you hear me, please help me and mom out. I love and miss you guys so much."
