Ita clutched at his own heart, staring at the tall stone structure. He moved forward, cowering against the wind. He turned his gaze behind himself, checking if anything was there. Ita moved forward, hearing noises of beeping. Then yelling, and running. He looked around. Again, there was still nothing. The beeping died down soon afterward. He thought he could hear soft crying, then he shook his head and it was gone. Ita turned his attention back, the feeling of regret hitting. I shouldn't be here... He told himself. Yet, he didn't listen. It was as though some unknown force was tugging at him. He stepped forward once more. He looked at a stone tower in the middle, noticing faded blue sketches etched neatly into the stone. He followed the swirls of the design with his eyes, mesmerized by the look of it.
The wind whisked past his ear like a whisper on a quiet stage. He spun around, getting his bearings. The wind blew harder for a moment, as though it was telling him to touch the rock. Ita shied back a bit, his eyes widening with fear. He stalked forward, slowly reaching out his hand towards the rock. Ita extended his finger towards it, resting his finger tips against the rock. The rock shuddered, sending a strange feeling of cold and warmth through him. He was about to pull his hand away when the designs grew brighter and brighter until they were blinding. Ita stepped back, the light dying down just enough that he could see correctly.
The wind stopped. Everything seemed to stop.
Ita swerved around on his heels, stepping back with one foot and driving his heel into the ground. He shook with fear. Before him was a tall, shadow-like figure. It loomed above him, turning its mighty head to look down at him.
"Your time here is over. You are being called to another world, the one where you belong."
"What? What do you mean?" The figure shook it's head, raising it's arms in the air. Wisps of shadows flew towards it, forming into a long blade. Before Ita could react, it drove towards him and through his stomach.
Everything faded to black, and he felt his eyes close and his body go limp.
