Night Terrors

She can't avoid sleep, as hard as she tries

She's losing the battle, she closes her eyes

Tossing and turning, her fears start to flood

Visions of death, murder, and blood

Innocent young girl, subjected to dreams

Nightmares, they haunt her, ending with screams

Horrifying wails, blood curdles through

Sights so vivid, she swears they are true

The doctors and therapists don't understand

Her parents can't help her, nobody can
