"I love you Lehilani. See you in a few weeks. Remember to get me one or two souvenirs from LA. Bye." We hugged and kissed for the last time. Well, at least until I came back from my trip. Zach and I had been dating for over 4 years. Ever seen I met him I haven't had eyes for anyone else. I love him so much, it's probably unhealthy.
I turned around about to leave, when I got out my phone.
I typed in, I love you, and sent it to Zach.
When I turned to see his reaction, he looked uncomfortable and uneasy. Maybe he was holding back the emotions. Maybe. I went up to him and hugged him. He was just standing there, but I could feel the tears that were falling from his eyes.
"I'll be back soon. Don't miss me too much. Don't do anything you'll regret."
And with that I left. Leaving all my trust in him.
