Nina rolled her eyes, she reached for the red phone that was on the wall. "Hello?!" She immediately said once the phone was pressed to her ear.
"Hello ma'am, how are you?" The person replied in a calm tone.
She cocked an eyebrow. "You do know that the elevator broke down, right?"
"Yes."
Sebastien judged her as she talked, looking at what she was wearing.
"Do something about it! I'm stuck in here with a psycho." Nina demanded as she gestured towards Sebastien.
He scoffed and slowly slide down the wall to sit down.
"What the-" Nina gawked as she continued to listen to the person on the phone. "I can't wait until then-No-My boss is going to fire me if I'm not at the banquet on time-I understand that it's New Years Eve but-" She boiled with anger, breathing heavily. "Thank you." She abruptly said, slamming the phone back onto the wall letting out a loud groan.
Sebastien cocked an eyebrow.
She glowered at him. "What are you looking at?"
"What did they say?"
"No one is going to fix it until after midnight."
He looked down at his watch and let out a low sigh, it was only 9:30 pm "It's going to be a long night, princess." He gestured for her to sit down. "Take a seat."
Nina crossed her arms over her chest and remained standing. "I told you not to call me princess."
"You never told me your name."
"Screw you." She spat.
He put his hands up in defense. "We're going to be stuck in here for three hours might as well be friends."
"No thanks." She replied in a cold tone, her hands reaching for her phone. There was no service.
"Have it your way." Sebastien mumbled as he rolled his eyes, he continued to text his sister. He fortunately always had service whenever he was in the elevator. After that he texted his sister he immediately messaged Jake telling all that was happening.
Nina began walking around with her hand raised, hoping that her phone would just get service so she could call her boss. Minutes of trying she gave up and frowned, she looked over at Sebastian and saw that he was texting.
"Give me your phone." She demanded with her hand out.
He looked up at her with a raised eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
"I need to call my boss so give me your phone."
"Not with that attitude." He scowled, putting his focus back on texting.
She glared at him and moved towards him, trying to take the phone out of his hands.
"Hey!" He shouted, holding the phone tight in his hand placing his arm in front of her so that there was distance. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"I need that phone!" She answered, trying to grab the phone once again.
He stood up and put the phone into his pocket. "No." His arms crossed over his chest with a smug smirk on his face.
She stood tall and placed her hands on her hips, trying her best to look fierce. "Give me the damn phone."
"Tell me your name first."
"No."
"Then no phone." He took it out of his pocket and waved it in front of her face, teasing her.
Nina's eyes squinted as she looked at him angrily. "You're really annoying."
"So are you." He retorted. "No means no, princess."
They continued to glare at one another until Nina jumped forward for the phone.
Sebastien turned around, lifting the phone up in the air.
She jumped onto him, trying to reach for the phone.
"Get off of me!" He yelped.
One of Nina's arms was around Sebastien's head while the other arm reached for the phone, her legs straddling him. "Just give it to me!"
"You're crazy!"
She finally grabbed the phone, her face brighten as she jumped off of him.
Sebastien turned around and gripped the phone tightly. "Let go."
"You let go." She held tighter.
They suddenly began to both tug on the poor phone as hard as they could until Sebastien suddenly let go, the phone slipped out of Nina's hands which then slammed into the elevator wall making a loud sound.
Sebastien froze as the phone fell onto the ground.
Nina quickly ran towards it, she held it into her hands and tried turning it on but it was useless the phone screen was covered in cracks. "Noooo!" She shouted as she looked down at the phone.
Sebastien remained still with his eyes large.
She turned around to look at him, a look of anger on her face. "Look what you did!"
"That was your fault!" Sebastien shouted, glowering down at her as he snatched the broken phone out of her hand. He frowned as he fell back to sit down on the floor, the phone in his hands a frown plastered on his face.
Nina bite down on her bottom lip, feeling guilty. "My name is Nina." She sighed quietly.
"That's not going to bring my phone back." He mumbled sadly.
"It was by accident!" She tried defending herself, knowing it was a lie.
He looked back up at her.
She groaned, knowing that she had to say sorry. "I'm sorry, I will pay for a new phone."
Sebastien rolled his eyes. "Sure."
Nina moved to the other side of the elevator and sat down, she played with her dress in her hands as she looked down at it.
He watched her play with her dress. "Why are you wearing that?"
"Why not?"
"Are you getting married or something?"
"No."
"Then why are you wearing it?"
She looked up at him with annoyance. "I was supposed to be going to a banquet. All the high end designers and company owners are going to be there." Nina looked back down and stopped playing with her dress letting her hands drop. "It was my opportunity to show them my designs." A sad look was now on her face.
Sebastien didn't know how to react to her sudden sadness. "Well, I'm the next best thing."
Nina scoffed then began to laugh. "What are you trying to do?"
He cocked an eyebrow. "What?"
"Are you flirting with me?" She questioned.
He was taken back. "No princess, not every guy you meet is flirting with you." Sebastien rolled his blue orbs at her in annoyance. "I'm trying to be nice, just show me your designs."
"My name is Nina." She reminded him in a firm tone.
"I heard you the first time, princess."
"Then stop calling me princess." She snarled.
He put his hands up in defense. "Alright, your highness."
Nina let out a frustrated sigh. "You are the worst person to get stuck in an elevator with."
"Right back at you." He replied as he began to remove his scarf.
