Chapter 2- Studio Recording (Leigh-Anne's POV)

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

“Ugh leave me alone!” I knew it was my alarm clock, but I felt the need to yell at it. It was 7 AM and the girls and I had to go to the studio to get our last recording session for our new album. Besides it being seven in the morning, it was a Monday as well, so today wasn’t going to be the best day.

“Why did he do this to me!?” I’m pretty sure that was Jesy, her room was right beside mine and that’s where it came from. So I decided to slowly get up, put my slippers on and walk over there. I walked in to a weeping Jesy who is being comforted by Perrie and Jade. “We loved each other so much, but why?” She kept saying things about how they were perfect together and it made me want to go beat Jordan to a pulp. He made her life perfect, and he had to go and ruin it saying they weren’t perfect for each other.

“Jesy, don’t cry, he’s not worth all the tears and emotions.” I reassure her. She doesn’t need to be so emotional over someone who was just a bump in the road. I know she will find someone better for her.

“Ugghh, why is my life messed up?” Jesy moaned.

“It’s not! You are a perfect girl, you won the X Factor and you are in one of the most popular girl bands ever! You’re a strong beautiful woman who has a lot more to worry about than some silly boy.” Jade stated. Wow, I didn’t know Jade had that in her. Jesy’s sadness faded and her eyes opened wide staring straight at Jade.

“Now I think it’s time we get ready to go to the studio and record, we have a lot to do today.” Perrie said. We all gave one last glance at one another, and went off to get ready.

“I get the bathroom first!” I yelled. We always make Jade go last since she takes the longest, and I always go first because it always take me the shortest amount of time. I put on my eyeliner, smoky eye shadow and red lipstick after brushing my teeth. I then moved into my room and put on my navy blue shirt that said “Nerd” and a pair of dark skinny jeans. After I put my hair into a messy bun, I walked into the kitchen to grab a glass of orange juice.

“Do you mind pouring me a glass?” I hear a soft voice say behind me. I turned around to see Jesy standing behind me, looking emotionless.

“Sure” I reply. I grab two glasses from the cabinet and pour the orange juice into them. “Here ya go Jesy.”

“Thanks.” She replies in a quiet tone and takes a sip of her orange juice. I just had to hug her, she seemed so vulnerable. When I hugged her I felt as if I were holding a dead person, she seemed lifeless. Who knew that she cared about Jordan so much?

“I love you Jesy, you know that?” I questioned.

“Yea, I love you too, sorry I’m just real down. I need to get over it.” Jesy said.

“Trust me, I believe you’ll forget about all this next week! We are going to have such a great time in Puerto Rico!” I tried to cheer up Jesy, she put a fake smile on her face, finished her orange juice and went back to her room to finish getting ready.

“Girls are you ready to go?” Perrie asked as everyone finished getting ready.

“Of course!” Jade replied with a happy expression on her face. So we all headed out to Perrie’s SUV and headed to the studio.

The ride to the studio was quite silent, Jesy and Jade sat in the back staring out the window, while Perrie drove and I sat in the passenger seat. I decided we should get some positive energy going through our systems, so I plugged in my phone to Perrie’s radio and picked a One Direction song. I chose Jesy’s favorite since she was down, her favorite is Stand Up. Once the song started playing, everyone’s eyes perked up and I saw a smile grow on Jesy’s face.

“Oh my gosh Leigh-Anne! This is one of my favorite songs!” She screamed. Everyone started dancing like crazy! I’m surprised Perrie didn’t wreck the car! But something I noticed when Jesy listened to this song was that every time Niall sang, she had the biggest grin on her face. That gave me an idea.

We finally made it to the studio after 20 minutes of jamming, singing and dancing in the car. We had such a fun time and it was nice to see that Jesy was having a good time, and that Jade had already forgotten about the spider prank we played on her.

“That was so much fun!” Perrie expressed with a little spasm. Sometimes she was such a fruit loop, but I still loved her. We then got out of Perrie’s car and walked to the front door of the studio. As we were walking, I noticed Perrie was acting a bit strange, she was staring off into space and normally she was always walking in front talking to everyone when we go to the studio. But this time, she was in the back, in deep thought. I should probably ask her what’s wrong, but I don’t want to start anything at the moment.

We walk into the studio to find our recording team ready for us to record. We were excited to record because that meant we would have our new album finished, and we would release it and go on tour as soon as we come back from Puerto Rico. This is going to be a very exciting year for Little Mix and all of our fans.

“Okay girls, let’s do this!” Jade chants as we enter the booth.

“Here we go album number two!” Jesy says with a positive smile.

We spend most of the day recording and we got done about four o’ clock. So we all pile up in Perrie’s SUV and ride home. Jade falls asleep and I keep dosing off, so we don’t play any music on the way to our flat. As we pull up in the driveway, we notice a black car sitting there. It could only be Zayn’s car. We get out of the car and see no one is in the car, so we head to the front door and open it, noticing it has been unlocked. It has to be Zayn, he’s the only other person who has a key. We all walk in and

“SURPRISE!!!!” All of the One Direction boys, along with Eleanor are standing in our kitchen with a cake and some balloons.

“What is this for!?” Perrie screams. The boys and El sure did scare her.

“This little get together is for completing your second album!” Louis screams back at Perrie.

“You shouldn’t have done this!” I say with a surprised look on my face. Then I notice Niall glaring his ocean blue eyes at Jesy. My plan that I only thought of was already working, I didn’t even have to say a word. As everyone else is talking I notice Jesy and Niall’s eyes meet, and both of their cheeks turn a rosy colored red. Perfect, she is already over Jordan.

“How about we watch the game!” Liam announces with his deep booming voice, of course everyone makes their way to the couches in the living room. I sit beside Jade who is next to Harry. On the other couch is Zayn, Perrie, Eleanor, Louis and then Liam, on the loveseat is Niall and Jesy. I can just see the happiness in her eyes when she talks to him. There was like a spark between them, like they were meant to be, but that’s just how I see it. I really care about Jesy, and I can’t stand to see her sad.

After the game is over all the boys and Eleanor go home except for Zayn. I just hope Him and Perrie stay quiet tonight, because I am whooped. After we say our goodnights, I head to the bathroom, change, brush my hair and teeth, and I go to bed, and sleep peacefully all night.
