Ezzy's POV

And I did. I trusted Jenner with my whole heart. Yeah it might have been a little crazy.... but I didn't care. His perfect smile... it filled me with butterflies. His brown eyes were full of happiness. He was so handsome. I was nothing compared to him. I couldn't help it! For me... it was love at first sight. He quickly grabbed my hand and tugged me softly along. He was so big and strong, yet gentle. My skin burned where he touched me. He guided me through the now busy streets. I had no clue what was going to happen, and I guess my fear was a bit obvious.

"Hey, Esmeralda... relax. You'll be fine. Calm down. You'll have fun. I promise." He whispered as he drew closer to me. My heart stopped. After a few more minutes he stopped.    "We're here!" He declared.

"This is here?" I looked around at my surroundings. We were on the outermost border of the kingdom. There was grass beneath our feet and on. There was a glistening lake in front of us surrounded by a forest. It was beautiful.

"Yup! Oh, sorry. I didn't realize I was still holding your hand."

"It's fine!" I blushed and looked at the ground. "So, why did you bring me here?"

"You seem special." He smiled at me, and my stomach filled with butterflies.

"Oh... thanks, but I am really not special at all. I'm quite boring. I mean I don't really have anything out of the ordinary about me..." I said quickly.

" I doubt it. But I guess I will find that out later."

"So... why do you come here?"

"To get away. I don't like the kingdom. I've always felt that there's way more out ther for me."

"I... I... feel the same. There must be more than this provincial life!"

"Out there, there is a world of adventure and thrill. One day... I'll leave. I will leave forever..."

   "I wish I could..."

"You can... you just have to take off... and..."

"Fly..." We said simultaneously. We stared at each other's eyes for a few seconds until he looked away.

"Yeah... Well that day can't come soon enough." Little did we know... We would be leaving a lot sooner then we thought.
