Chapter 1 introductions
Not so long ago we only cared about our phones, how we looked and who was the latest celebrity now we are fighting for our survival well some of us.
Sorry I forgot my manners my names my name is Jayie I'm a small, white/grey haired I have really pale skin I didn't really go outside... Well that's what everyone thinks because I am basically a gamer ya know someone who plays video games for a living? Well that isn't the only thing I do am I one of the fighter ( trained) to help prevent this but as you should know that failed, oh you are asking me why a 16 year old girl is trained to kill? well that's a very easy answer this is the SECOND zombie apocalypse that has happened on earth the first was in 1989 my father nearly died that year so he said on video tape " my family will be trained no matter what gender will be trained to kill any paranormal activity there is" personally I think my Dad was crazy... But aren't we all?
Now back to the point my friends. That's what I do( the games) I met most of my friends online well all my close ones anyway.
My friends are now basically my family.... No one could get a hold of their family members because the lines went dead only about an hour or so ago. We have been trying for days. My closest friend is called Skyler Court she has been in my life since I was 8 that's when I moved to Waterfall. Well isn't that funny waterfalls are peaceful, calm and gentle and there's freaking zombie apocalypse going on. Skyler has pastel purple hair
In school there was three groups and I didn't feel like I belonged there in any of them. There was the Crazy Mob Hunters they were the scariest group there was that had Maxi Miller, head cheerleader, and most popular, Kate Darson second most powerful girl in the school then their followers. The boys were Jake Barnt the head jock and most popular and Liam Warth second most powerful boy in school and their followers as well.
The second was the red blood hounds that has Ella Rey, Josh Edward, Darren Adamson , Marie Edwards ( Josh's sister) and even Skyler also known as R.B.H
and then there's the Alien Confusing Machine that consists of Kat MacClesfield, Johnnie MacArther, Scott Gilligan, Gorgon McCain and Casey Moore but Casey has been missing for the two weeks ( I'm worried about him) They have been after me for two whole years. They started in S2 and wouldn't let it go that's when the Red Blood Hounds went after me thanks the Skyler after I told her about what the Alien Confusing Machine ( A.C.M) were up to. I always felt like an outsider when I was in school 'cause I never really spoke to anyone because of how shy and nervous I get around people, unlike Skyler she is extremely chatty and possibly the most positive person I know- that -has-ever-existed-in-like-ever.
'Oi, Star what ya doing this Saturday?' Johnnie started what he always does. Flirting. Why. It . Is. Pointless.
'Um yep, doing what everyone else will be doing..... Trying to survive and find food, shelter, heat and trying to connect with my parents like every day. Oh and don't call me Star that's my last name my first is Jayie. So call me by my name!' I started our daily arguments
' Leave her alone Johnnie she doesn't like you no one in the R. B. H. Does so- ' Skyler was interrupted by Scott.
'Oh but she isn't in your pathetic excuse of a gang hahaha' Scott joined in next it was Darren then next thing you know is everyone in both gang yelling at each other over me... Why me!?
This has happened for about two weeks now and I snapped...
'SHUT UP WILL YAHH' I yelled everyone stopped and stared. ' Thank you now I think we all say this but I am not in any gang and don't want to be okay? Now I am going out I don't want anyone to follow me okay' I say picking up my rucksack and my machete and my Mum's necklace and my Dad's Swiss Army Knife and my jacket and left I knew two people were going to follow me Josh and Gorgon.
' Yo, J.S. why do you Always snap before us it's not fair-" Josh started
'I said leave me alone.. Now get away or you will end up Zombie bate?' I said as I rudely interrupted him and I wasn't even sorry I need to be alone. Gorgon grabbed Josh's arm and said 'Dude, let's let her go this once' I really appreciate him he always is nice but maybe a little too nice. Or I might be jumping to random conclusions but still.
I start to run away again but not making a lot of noise because Zombies let's not forget THE ZOMBIES I am struggling to understand why no one else choose to train for this. They all called MY dad crazy and or paranoid about it. But I knew if lightning can strike more than twice the so can a Zombie Apocalypse.
I heard someone crying for help but not loud enough for the Zombies to here. I saw him. Casey. I thought he was dead. We. We all did.
'Casey? Dude what's happened?' I asked still in shock
' meh, got attack' he stated
'By a zombie?'
' Nah, by them' he pointed behind me and there they stood the C. M. H. I jumped up onto my feet like there was no tomorrow and pointed my machete at them I didn't recognise them they looked different.
' Well, Well, Well, look who we have here. Jayie Star.' One of them started
' stay back!' I yelled I knew what I was doing get Zombies to come to us then grab Casey and run.
'Shut it, we know what you're doing and well it isn't going to work and we need you're help. And you're going to help us no matter what.' A boy spoke up he look familiar but I don't know who he was. I don't know who I am never mind anyone else.
' Who are you? What do you want from me?' Was all I could say as my anxiety kicked in
' What you don't remember us? Wow Skyler must have brainwashed you!'
'Don't listen to her Star she is trying to get in you're head' Skyler yelled then the other two gangs appeared ' well hello Casey, nice paint!' Johnnie said with a smirk
'Star it's me Jake Barnt we need you're help come with us please I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important' Jake looked pleadingly at me. I know he wouldn't ask if he didn't need help.
'Okay, I'll help you-' I started to say
'No Jayie don't you dare go with them what! Do. You think. They. Want. From. You. Ehh' Josh getting involved
' Josh I hope you know I meant what I said I will turn your to Zombie food' I said as if it was an every day thing. Josh looked horrified. So I started to walk towards Jake but Casey grabbed his bat and started swinging it at me but my reflexes kicked in and the next I knew Casey was on the ground holding his arm. Before I do anything Jake grabbed my arm and said 'Let's go' we started to walk away all I heard was Skyler yelling ' She won't join you're gang. She is to innocent for that and Jake you know that haha come gang lets go' Jake pulled me closer to him but I moved away right after he did. The last thing I saw was a pack of Zombies running towards us and someone screaming 'Run for it'.
