"End up Here"

Dear Journal,

I was walking home on a sunny Friday when I caught a moving truck at the house next door.  I  kept walking eyeing someone in the car.

"Must be new neighbors."  I mumbled to myself.  But when one of the people stepped out I swear my body ignited.  She was gorgeous.  Swagger out the wild with her flannel  and black skinny jeans.  Not the bad kind of egregious either.  Our eyes met and I could tell I'm in one heck of a ride.

I was home and now so was she.  Her window was right across from mine.  I was drifting off to sleep when i heard beautiful singing.  It was as if this mysterious girl was just an angel in disguise. I was debating on singing with her.  I watched her strum her acoustic guitar and like my myself...I made a clumsy mistake.

Thinking the window was open I was putting my head out and to my luck it was closed.  I bumped my head on the window causing her gaze to fall upon me.  We talked for what seemed like forever and honestly I wish it could've been.  Her name was Alicia, and when i told her my name was Luke, she made it into Lukey, now to her this is my name.  She's cunning, sociable, and made me exhilarate with happiness.

We hung out for a couple days, non-stop, I didn't what day it was at this point, but it's Summer so who cares?  I decided to introduce my " new friend" to my best buds.  Let me tell you that, was fun.  They got along too well may i say and it was louder than we normally are.  At first Alicia was really shy, then she was "herself."  I like when she is herself.  We had a great time until the guy's fell asleep...too much sugar.  We were all curled up together when I noticed she was just staring at me.  The TV being the only light source made it just luminous enough to see her glowing face.  She smiled.

"Lucas?" she asked still grinning like an idiot.

"Yes?" I giggle...wait i giggled...ew.

"I think I'm going to like it here... with you."

That made my day.  I kissed her forehead and watched her blush.  We slowly drifted to sleep, not daring to let go.
