-- Chapter Three --
--- Alice's POV ---
I walked purposely along the hallway of my new school. For being here for almost a week now, I finally got to know the shortcuts and 'longcuts' on my way to class.
Today was... in a word, tiring. During Chemistry, we were told to know the parts of the Periodic Table of Elements, and who discovered the elements. Almost the whole class wanted to die that time.. During Geometry, Ms. Barnes taught us the different postulates, which was really really hard to understand.
The rest of my other class seems to pass like a blur. The only thing I am looking forward now is the final bell so I could walk back home and finish the book I'm reading.
I quickly ran into the gym after hearing the bell. I hope I'm not yet late, I just hated it being late.. And just my luck, I tripped over something making me fall into my butt, again.
Not so many people laughed at me, maybe they're used to it. I don't know, but there were two girls staring at me, the kind of girl I wouldn't want to mess with. Tehy make me feel like I'm someone who is the suspect of some cruel murder. It feels kinda freaky and I have that feeling at the back of my neck that something bad was going to happen.
And just like what I thought, they were the type of girls I should avoid. They started whispering to each other, but I can't help being curious. After all, it might be a gossip inspired by me.
I didn't notice how I stood up, and took all my books that spread along the floor. It's like my body went on cruise without command. Funny as it may sound, but it's always like that. Many unexplainable things happen to me. More than how much you would expect it
-- Justin's POV --
"You said she've never came here!" Tanya growled.
I rolled my hazel eyes, "What's it to you?"
She hit my head, hard. But not hard enough to hurt me. "What's it to me? You know she's not supposed to be here. You know what she is capable of. You just put us all in danger."
I shook my head, "She doesn't have a clue of what she is capable of. Now go, and shut your big mouth before she finds out about it."
I still remember that day, when fell on the ice. I don't understand how she didn't notice how she some sort of manipulated the wind to her direction. How the ice went thick and slippery,.. And how clumpsy of her.
I seen her records, according to it, she's a great student with exceptional knowledge. She could be in college right now, and she has her ways to solve through problems. And unexplainable things happen to her.
Hmm.. Would she ever find out? Or would it forever stay like this? But there's no secret that could never be revealed, it just takes time.
I don't know why Tanya is so furius at the new girl, it's not she could hurt her, right? Like as if, she could kill or defeat her.. Like that's possible.
I walked to my car and saw her, the new girl. She was waiting for her ride, I pressume.
"What are you looking...." Tanya trailed off.
I sighed, "Would you give it a rest. She. Doesn't. Know. A. Thing. About. Her. Past."
She shook her head, "So you think her biological didn't tell her anything?"
I stared ahead, "Yeah."
"Good." Tanya said, satisfied even for a little bit.
--- Author's Note ---
-- So thank you thank you thank you again for those who are reading and commenting and voting my story... Again, it means so much to me..
So here's the big question, what is Tanya and Justin hiding from Alice? What does it have to do with her past, and her clumpsiness?
I guess I'll leave you for a while with that cliff hanger. . .
