Yuto looked over at his lover and saw that he was asleep. Yuto noted that Yuri looked peaceful as he slept, and not like he had been raised as a warrior. Yuto put a blanket over Yuri and just continued to watch him sleep. Yuto knew that he was going to have to leave soon, and he didn't know how to tell Yuri that he was leaving. Yuto laid down next to Yuri and fell asleep, deciding to think more about this in the morning. The next morning Yuto woke up before Yuri. He got up off of the bed and got dressed. He looked over at his lover and saw that he was still asleep. Yuto knew what he had to do. He had to leave with out telling Yuri, and most likely never see Yuri again. Yuto walked over and placed a kiss on his lover's fore head and then left the house. At the end of the street Yuto looked behind him at the purple house that his lover was sleeping peacefully in with tears in his eyes. Yuto quickly looked away and ran the rest of the way to his destination.
Three Years Later
Yuri looked at the picture on his nightstand. It was a picture of his past lover, Yuto. Yuri had vowed never to fall in love again, or show any emotions to anyone. Not after Yuto left him during the night. He didn't know what made Yuto leave without explanation, but it had broken Yuri's heart and had led to Yuri becoming suicidal. Yuri didn't want to live without Yuto, but something always happens that stops him from fully killing himself. Yuri got up from his bed and headed out of his house. Yuri had moved to a new town and he wanted to explore, and hope that someone would end his life while he was out. As Yuri walked he saw a house that was the color of obsidian. It made him think of Yuto because black was one of the colors in Yuto's hair. As Yuri looked at the house he saw the door open and saw Yuto walk outside. Yuri gasped, as he had thought that he would never see his past lover again, and looked away. Yuto had heard the gasp and looked up. He saw Yuri standing there looking at the ground. Yuto knew that he should go talk to him, but instead he walked right past Yuri towards his best friend's house. Yuri watched as Yuto walked past him, as if he wasn't even there. Yuri was tempted to run up to him and punch him, but he didn't.
Yuto walked into his friend's house and sat on the couch waiting for his friend to come down stairs. When he did he noticed that Yuto looked out of it. "What's wrong with you Yuto?" He asked. "Yuri is in the neighborhood Shay, and I don't know what to do. I left him with no explanation or warning three years ago, and now here he is and I just don't know what to do." Yuto answered his friend. "Go find him and explain."Shay said while shoving Yuto off of the couch and to the door. After Shay shoved Yuto out the door and closed it Yuto turned towards the road. He knew that Shay would not let him back in until he took care of this. Yuto started walking down the street to try to find Yuri. Yuto heard a commotion coming from an alley way close by and he headed towards the sound. When Yuto arrived at the alley way he saw four boys in a circle laughing at something in the circle. Yuto walked towards the group and saw that there was a fifth boy who was beating up Yuri, and Yuri wasn't fighting back. The Yuri that Yuto knew would have fought back in an instant, but he must have changed after yuto left him. Yuto ran the rest of the way to the group and pushed his way through. He stood in front of Yuri and as the other boy threw a punch at him he retaliated with moves that he had learned over the past three years. Soon all five of the bullies had fled the ally way and Yuto turned around to see that Yuri had passed out. Yuto gently picked him up and took him back to his house. He wrapped up yuri's wounds and waited for Yuri to wake up.
The next morning Yuri awoke and saw that his wounds were wrapped up and that he was in an unfamiliar place. He got out of the bed that he was in and started to explore the house. He soon found the kitchen and could smell bacon cooking. He followed his nose and when he walked in he saw Yuto in there. Before Yuri got the chance to flee Yuto turned to him and smiled softly. "Glad you're all right." He said. Yuri didn't say anything, instead he just stared at his past lover. Yuto walked towards Yuri and as he was walking he said, "I'm sorRy that I left so suddenly three years ago, but I had to leave and I didn't know how to tell you. I thought that it would be easier on both of us if I left without a word, but I guess I was wrong from what I saw last night." Yuri knew what Yuto was talking about. If Yuto had saved him he would have seen that Yuri was not fighting back, and Yuri used to always fight back. Yuto looked at Yuri with guilt filled eyes, and Yuri couldn't stand it anymore. He ran up to yuto and hugged him tightly, not letting him go. Yuto returned his hug and they both knew that they were alright, but their relationship will not be the same as it once was.
