The Unknown...

So I’m not your average skinny girl, I’m the big chick in the corner that always has a snack in her hand. And my name is Ashley. But don’t get me wrong I do want to lose all of this weight, but it’s hard for me. But that’s OK; my doctor signed me up for this program to help people like me with a problem. So I was supposed to meet them today, but I just got a job at McDonald’s and I didn't want to miss out on getting my discounted food, because I was hungry at the moment.

I walked into McDonald’s and they already knew what I wanted and I only worked there for 2 days. I couldn’t believe that, or maybe they just had a really good memory. But I let that go, and put it aside. I grabbed my meal, and as I did my phone rang, I couldn’t find it at the moment, but I remembered that I put it in my shirt. So I sat my food down so I could get my phone, and I was looking all in my bra and everything and I couldn’t find it. But then it rang again and I felt a vibration under my skin, and there it was, hidden under my fat. I knew that it was too much to live with, so I called my doctor, but he was out at the moment and his secretary said that she was going to tell him.

She gave him the message and she called back saying “ umm he said that there is this new thing, that will make sure that you lose weight, and he gave me the address.” all I could say was “ oh wow, that’s great what is it?” “ Oh um its 756 Applegate rd.” I was excited that my doctor had found a new place for me to go. I was hoping that it was better than what he had for me at first. But then as I thought the lady said something else “um before you go, he told me to tell you that it starts tomorrow at 6:00 am.” when she said that I almost wanted to not go, but knew that I had to get rid of my weight.

So I woke up, early in the morning. And I got ready to do some work. When I got out of the shower I made sure that I looked in the mirror, well at least the part that I could see. I was so fat, and there was nothing I could do without help. So I got ready in a hurry, but it took me a while because I couldn’t find anything that I could fit any more. But I did find some pants that were for people that were pregnant. I put them on and a huge shirt, and I got in the car.

When I got in, I almost wouldn’t fit, I got in and I had to push the seat back, and I knew that all the things that was happening where happening fast, I didn’t know why but everything that I had was becoming too small. I drove and when I looked at the rode the rode became smaller as well. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes, until I saw that even the cars next to me where smaller. But I let everything go because I had a rough morning.

I got to the place that I was going to, and I saw that there were other cars in the lot. I was happy that I wasn’t the only one. So I came up to the door, and there was this voice that said, “ tell me your name and you may enter.” I was like OK, that’s not creepy, but I said, “ Um my name is Ashley.” “ Oh, hi Ashley, your on the list, and you may come in.” this door was more than creepy, because not only know that I was here, but it knew that I was supposed to be here, at this time.

When I got inside I immediately started looking for people, I didn’t see any at first, but then there was some people that was in a room that looked like a lobby. I came in and said, “ Hi, how are you doing?” they all just looked at me, and they didn’t say anything, but one person said “ so why are you here?” I responded “oh um my doctor sent me here because he wanted me to lose weight, you?” “ Oh um my husband said that I needed to go see a therapist, and this is where they sent me.

All I knew about these people was that, we all had something wrong with us and someone sent us here. And it was odd because we where all different, and when I looked around I didn’t see anyone. It was empty, and usually there is some type of workers around right?

So I started a discussion talking about this place. And I was like “ isn’t it odd that you don’t see or even hear anyone else here.” they all looked at me again and said “ yeah” “ so I’m leaving if no one comes out in 2 minutes” “ yeah so am I” this boy said. “ Yup, same here” the crazy chick said. “ Hmm that’s what where going to do” the rest continued. We sat there for over 2 minutes and no one ever came out, so I got up, and I walked towards the door. But when I took a second look, the door was gone. There was nothing there. And I went back and asked them “ wasn’t the way out that way?” “ Yeah, and it still is” “ um no its not, there is nothing but wall back there.”

Everyone got up and was worried. We all went back there and, there was no door. We didn’t know what to think, so we had to come up with a way to get out of here some how. So I came up with the great idea that we go and check this place out, to see if there is any other way out. Everyone thought that was a good idea. So we headed back down the hall, and we where going to go through all of the doctors things, but when we got back the room was different. As if there was never a doctors office here. We all were freaked out.

So when the turned around there was this door, that said keep out. But right at that moment there was no other door or room to go to. So we opened it, and there was this hidden sign that read “ do not touch anything that has the color green on it.” I looked around and there was nothing but green everywhere, and I for some reason didn’t say anything because I thought that it was a joke. So we kept moving slowly, when I looked at my hands they where green themselves. So me being smart I wanted to get this green goop off of my hands.

I left the group, and I went back out looking for something to wash the stuff off of my hands. I walked back out of the room looking for a bathroom or something. I walked back towards where the door should have been and there it was, another room. I walked in thinking that it couldn’t be. When I got in and saw the full room, I saw that it was a chemist lab. And I saw this one liquid container and I was in a rush to get this stuff off of my hands because I was already feeling this tingling in my hands. So I poured it. I didn’t read the labels because I didn’t care, but they read, “ do not pour on skin, and if contacted to skin, it will cause death and psychiatric episodes.

So when I was done, the green stuff was gone, and I was like thank you cure. I walked out of the room, and I turned around and it wasn’t there any more. I just thought that I was tripping. When I got back to the room that had the door of green stuff, the door was no longer there. And I started to wonder, where is everyone. So I started to look, but I started to feel weak, and weaker. I wanted to lie down. I was still looking when I ran into this bed, that looked as if it was one of the most comfortable beds in the world, I started to lay, and it had a note on it, but I didn’t read it, I was too weak, but it read “ if layed on, there are sharp objects that will impale you, while folding in half”.
