I always wonder,
do you feel the same?
look at you as you talk,
laugh at jokes that you crack.
there's only one way that i could know,
lets put you though a test so cruel,
maybe cruel just for me,
that may decide what our fate is.
Just one touch,
you held my hand so light, it tingles.
but i let my hand slip at slow pace,
slowly sliding out.
look away and watch you talk,
just act normal, don't show it!
Slide it slow. slower!
please just don't let go.
this is cruel, why am i doing this?
this is lame, but there's no looking back,
slide it slow, okay this is stupid!
watch you talk, please stop me.
look at you, you don't even care,
reach your fingertips, i'm scared.
tap, tap, tap, notice me!
i guess this is the end of it.
In the midst of a laugh,
A snap of suddenness,
a smiling face gone straight.
a clear cut realization,
you look at me.
as i slide my hand away,
mid way, spaced away,
grab my hand with a sudden jerk.
you look at me,
a confused face,
questioning the slide,
i shake my head.
he doesn't know,
he passed the test,
he doesn't know,
that i'm so glad.
