Before the clock hits midnight Nicole noticed the two men pacing back and forth, they were restless for a reason unknown to her. She tried to ease the discomfort she felt in her wrist. The rope they tied on her was too tight, she knew that it had red marks on it now as she could sense the pain whenever she rubbed it together.

Her captors were too busy to notice her, so she continued to write to loosen.

Her attempts were interrupted when a loud slam was heard and four men entered the building. They were wearing black suits and they looked scared with all their guns in full display. Her two captors were on their feet. Another man entered the premises, but he was wearing a white tuxedo. He was a bit shorter compared to the rest of the men in that room, but his face was full of menace. Nicole watched him and for some odd reason, there was something familiar about the guy.

He moved in her direction and lifted her chin. "Hello, Nicole..." He said and smiled menacingly.

Nicole thought that this was the man behind her abduction, the same man who wanted to hurt her, but why? Who is this guy?

"Do I know you?" She answered with a trace of contempt in her voice.

The man in a white suit laughed hard. "Nicole... Nicole, you know how to hurt my feelings. Can you imagine after all these years you have forgotten about me." he stated. He pouted his lips like a disappointed child and then moved his face closer to her once again.

She tried to move away but his grip was tighter on her face. He stared at her cheek and his brows crossed.

"Who slapped her?!" The man in a white tuxedo shouted. His voice was like thunder booming loudly. His eyes went to her two captors as they stood there looking uneasy.

"Again... Who slapped her?!" He asked.

The scar-faced man answered. "I did, but I had no choice..." He tried to reason out, but he was cut short.

"Tell me, where are my instructions not clear enough for your pea-sized brain to understand?" He asked simply.

"But that bitch tried to trick me, she said that she would use the restroom, but she ran away instead. I had a hard time chasing her. It got me pissed..." The scarred face replied.

"Are you deaf? You did not answer my question. Were my instructions not clear when I said that no one should touch her!?" he uttered slowly making the man even more uncomfortable.

The guy responsible for hitting her scratched his head. "But boss..." He said trying to defend himself. The man whom he called boss gestured him to shut up and signaled the other men behind him.

It happened so fast that it did not fully register in Nicole's mind. She saw them grabbing the guy's collar and punching him hard. They took turns in assaulting the man. Blood started to drool on his busted lips, but they did not stop. His agonizing groaning and moaning of pain were enough to shut her eyes, their brutality was too much. She was hyperventilating. These men are monsters! She wanted them to stop but no words came out. She was beyond shocked!

After some time, Nicole's eyes slowly opened when the kicking and smacking ceased. She saw the man beaten up so hard that he could not even stand up and defend himself anymore. He lies there like he was paralyzed. She watched the man in white suit carefully and he did not even flinch. There was no remorse written on his face whatsoever. She gulped.

The bald guy took his partner up and attended to his bruises. The shorter man cleared his throat.

"I am sorry about that. I did not intend for you to see this brutality; I have problems with my temper sometimes" he laughed. "Anyway, time for our little introduction" he smiled like nothing happened.
