Hello, Internet. I'm Patrick, but you can call my Spook. I have this burden I really want off my chest. You see, this "burden" has been ruining my life for a while now, and I feel the need to let it be known. Like a warning or something of that sort. It may sound a little similar to like other scary stories you either watch, read, or heard of. I wouldn't blame you for thinking that way; I would thought it the same way, too.

You see, it started in my last year in middle school. I was a fairly decent student. Made a few bad grades here and there, didn't really have close friends but there were others I could get along with, and the list goes on and on. If my memory is correct, my burden came when I was at a football game. I worked as the one who made scores and stuff for the team. I was on good terms with them thank god! We had just entered into the 3rd quarter and went to take that few minutes of break. I was going to get some food since I didn't really have a snack or anything beforehand.

I accidentally bumped into these twins. I had remembered them from my English class. Their names were Wayne and William Figgs. They were those wall flowers that seem to have a bad aura around them. Looked similar in physical appearance, but voice tones, fears, and such things were different. They both had strawberry blonde hair with some piercing blue eyes. Both average height for a male of 14 going on 15. They had worn the same expression of emotionless towards me.

I told them I was extremely sorry for nearly spilling my lemonade and chilly dog on them. After all, I didn't want to make enemies, especially if I have to fight. I'm not a very good fighter like I would like to think I can be. They didn't say anything; just stared with no hint of changing their facial features. They made me uncomfortable since it makes me feel a little insecure about things. "You like supernatural things, don't you?" Wayne asked. His voice is a little higher pitched than William's; that much I remember from class! I nodded.

Now, remember when I said that they were wall flowers with a bad aura? It's because they seem to know you just by observing others. Since no one really spoke to them or really acknowledged their presence in the room, they decided to take notes on others. It sorta gave them a stalker title. Apparently I was among the many people they may have watched. I bet if they weren't so... intimating... they could be everyone's best friend when it comes to gossip about others. Even I would probably ask them about a few people I want revenge on.

William put a hand on my shoulder; which made me shiver at what may happen next. He looked into my eyes then to Wayne's. It was as if they were having a communication with their eyes that only they can understand. William looked back at me before smiling. I know you may say "Wait, he was smiling?! Well, color me surprised!" or "Maybe he's planning something and his brother is onto it!" I will say that the second thought went to my brain first. Who's wouldn't?

"When Monday comes, meet us in the back. We have some things to talk about." William said, before he and his brother walked away. I was left there trembling and, all in all, confused. Looking back, I could say this is where I made the mistake of how this became a burden that ruined my life a little. So, with that in mind, we skip pass the game and onto Monday's English class. I met them in the back, and no one even question it. It was like stepping into a world where you can still see everything and everyone yet remain undetected. Like a spy or assassin in movies and video games.

"Good, you made it. Now, down to business." Wayne said as I sat in a desk in front of theirs. "Yes, we have some good advice to tell you. It's supernatural based and all. But, we need to ask this one question before we can tell you." William stated. Again, I felt insecure and intimidated by them. I took a deep breath and looked them straight in the eyes. Wayne was the one who spoke. "Have you ever woke up with small scars and scratches on you with no clue of what the cause was?"
