Chapter 2: Mates?!

Hunters POV:
I was in B block and it was almost time to head to 1st lesson when I smelt an intoxicating smell.

It smelled of blue raspberries and blue bubblegum.

I knew it was my mate, I started looking around but for once my height didn't help.

I turned around only for someone to walk into my chest and I felt sparks.

I looked down and there was a new girl, staring at my chest, she had hair the colour of the ocean and eyes the colour of sapphires.

She was staring up at me, considering she was quite small. Her head was slightly tilted and she looked kind off confused until she looked up and gasped.

After a few seconds she said something.

"I-I-Im so s-sorry! Are y-you o-okay?" Stuttering softly

"I'm fine are you?" I replied, bending down to her ear "Mate."

"Hold up a sec? This ain't supposed to happen." She said, mostly to herself.

"What is supposed to happen then, blu?" I said to her.

"Well first your supposed to push me over for bumping into you, then secondly your gonna call your mates over to laugh at me, third your gonna reject me and not give me a nickname!" She said, confused.

I was shocked by that, I wouldn't reject her, ever.

"Well blu you have another thing coming, first I've asked if your okay, secondly now I am gonna show you to my friends but only so they can see how beautiful you're, third, I would never EVER even think of rejecting you and yes, you are gonna be called blue." I chuckled back at her.

"O-okay then...now what?"

"Stage 2! Come meet my friends!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my friends circle.

There was Luke, my soon-to-be beta. He had dark brown hair and emerald green eyes that had specks of gold in them. His wolf was a dark chocolate brown. He still had to find his mate and was as straight as a board.

He was watching my soon-to-be 3rd in command and his sister play pretend fight by softly slapping each other's hands.

My soon-to-be 3rd in command was called Tyler and had Blonde hair and brown eyes with specks of gold in them. His wolf was almost black but more dark grey.

Gold specks in eyes mean that they are important people, the more sparkly they're the more power they had. He also had to find his mate but he was about as straight as a bendy ruler.

His sister, Skyler, had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her wolf was almost white but a tad bit greyer. I swear those two were almost identical, a perfect match by the moon goddess. As family. She had to find her mate too.

They all stopped what they were doing and turned to look at her, she yelped and hid behind me and it was ADORABLE!!!

Then Luke asked me a question.

"Yo Hunter, who's this?" He asked suspiciously.

"She," I replied, "is Sapphire, but I call her blu because of her hair and eyes."

Then Skyler spoke up, mainly directed to Sapphire. "Hey Saph, do you want to show us your face? We won't judge, we promise." She said softly.

Then Sapphire spoke up. "A-Are you sure? I'm pretty ugly." She quietly replied.

I gasped, she was the cutest thing I had ever seen before and here she was saying she was ugly.

"You're not ugly. Come on we won't hurt you." I told her.

She took a deep breath and stepped out from behind me. They all gasped and then Tyler ran out, picked her up and hugged her.

"YOU ARE SO CUTE IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!" He all but yelled. He kept hugging her until I was starting to question his sexuality.

I growled quite loudly at that and they all looked at me until it clicked and Skyler ran over to me and hugged me. Then shrieked "YOU FOUND YOUR MATE!!!!"

Tyler put her down. "Wow! You didn't kill me when I hugged the shot out of your mate! That's great!"

But then, Luke talked again. "Er, where did she go?"
