Kylie's POV

Waking up I realize I had fallen asleep, I crawl out of my hiding space and look at the clock on the wall. 12:07am.

My stomach growls in hunger as I have not eaten anything for about 36 hours. I slip the stupid pull-up off and pull on a pair of paw patrol boxers. What the paw patrol is cool.

Not even bothering to look in the mirror, I know I have disheveled hair, I waltz out of my room and down the hallway. Eventually making it downstairs to the kitchen where I decide I want fruit loops. Opening the cereal pantry, I look for the fruit loops only to discover they are on the top shelf. AWE COME ON! I manage climb the shelves and grab the box. Making sure I avoid any possible contact with anyone I race to my closet and go back into my hiding place.

Ripping the box of fruit loops open I start engulfing them like I've never seen food before. It was almost like I was dying.

The scent of my father in my room was old, not even a fresh one. He didn't even try to come and comfort me or even find me. My heart shatters a little. I tell myself I'm just over reacting. After eating till my stomach was full, I fall asleep.

I emerge from my hiding spot and into my room to see its 9:30am. Does he even care?

Maybe he doesn't love me anymore.

Maybe he never loved me.

The thoughts ring through my head, my heart hurts. I grab my Go Diego Go backpack, placing it on my bed. Rummaging through my drawers I pick a few articles of clothing and shove them in the bag, along with some snack bars I found. I race out of the first door I see that leads outside.

No one is stopping me?

Letting out a sigh I take one more look back and then head into the woods in the direction of the mountains.

I guess this is it.

GAH WHAT AM I DOING I SHOULD GO BACK AND BEG FOR MERCY!

I run as far as I can, only slowing to a walk when it starts getting really steep and rocky. Hours pass, day turns into night. Night turns into day. I find paradise. A small meadow surrounded by rocks, a creek nearby. I place my bag on the ground. I guess this is home now.
