"I think somethings happening between them." Lydia says as she drives me back to my house."Between who?" I ask.
"Jackson and Allison."
"What? No way. Allison would never do that."
"Exactly she wouldn't but Jackson might."
"You're being paranoid Lydia." I tell my Red-headed best friend. "Besides she just broke up with Scott." She wouldn't do that would she. My brother is heartbroken. That was the craziest I've even seen him about a girl.
We arrive at my house and I say goodbye to Lydia before walking inside. "Stiles is coming to get us in a few minutes." Scott whispers scaring the crap out of me.
"What on earth are we going to do this late at night?" I ask.
"I don't know he just texted and said he was coming to pick us up."
"Where are we going?" I ask Stiles for the 5th time in an annoyed tone.
"You'll see." He replies leading Scott and I past the old ranger station and through dozens of puddles.
"I'm dress for this." I complain.
"Here take my coat." Scott says handing me his leather jacket.
"Thank you but I meant my shoes. These are new." I reply putting on the jacket over my maroon sweater.
"We really shouldn't be out here my mom is in a constant state of freak out from what happened at the school." Scott tells Stiles trying to convince him to bring us back home.
"Well your mom isn't the sheriff. K? There's no comparison trust me." Stiles replies.
"Can you just tell me what we're doing out here?" Scott asks.
"Yes. When your best friend gets dumped..."
Stiles can't even finish his sentence before Scott corrects him. "It's just a break."
"When your best friend gets told by his girlfriend that they're taking a break you get your best friend drunk." Stiles explains holding up a bottle of alcohol.
"Why am I here exactly?" I ask
"We need a DD." Stiles answers. I nod, at least he was smart enough to think of that.
Stiles is really drunk by the time that bottle is half empty and Scott has barely dranken anything. "Dude, she's just one girl. You know out of so many other girls in the sea." Stiles slurs.
"Fish In the sea." Scott corrects.
"Fish? Why are you taking about fish? I'm talking about girls. God I love girls. I love em. Especially ones with light brown hair with tints of strawberry blond, brown eyes, 5 foot 3." Stiles continues. I raise my eyebrows and look at Scott. Is he talking about me?
"Like Sophie?" Scott asks.
"Exactly. Hey how did you know I was talking about...about....what was I talking about? Hey you're not happy, take a drink." Stiles says. He doesn't know what he's saying. He's really drunk. There's no way he likes me. I thought he liked Lydia, not me. Why has he never said anything?
"I don't want anymore." Scott says refusing the bottle Stiles is trying to hand him.
"You're not drunk?" Stiles asks.
"I'm not anything." Scott replies.
"Maybe it's like not needed you inhaler anymore, maybe you can't get drunk. As a wolf. Am I drunk?" Stiles suggests.
