Chapter 6 Ghost from the dead

Chris looked up as the roof crumbled even more, soon the bricks and dirt would fall on top of their heads and they would get killed. The Yakorix was still unconscious and the weather outside was really stormy.

Kevin picked up the Yakorix and stuffed her inside his backpack. Chris threw a coil of rope all the way to the top of the hole and tied the other end to Nanyine's waist. Nanyine began to climb, once she reached the top, she threw down the rope again and sat there waiting.

Angel went next, followed by an exhausted Kevin.

Soon there was only Chris left in the hole/home of the manowlfs and he was halfway there. Suddenly, a piece of the cavern fell down, falling dangerously closely to where Chris was, hanging from the nearly broken coil of rope.

Another piece fell down, and another. One fell down and sliced the rope in half and Chris started falling.

"Chris!" Shouted Angel, which was peering around the edge.

Chris suddenly levitated in the air. His skin turned a sickly blue, like he had been frozen in ice for years. 

He flew up and landed on the soft grass.

"Hello?" A voice echoed in everyone's head," can you hear me?"

"Who are you?" Asked Angel, surprised.

"I'm Ragina's ghost,"the voice  said."I'm able to transport other people around. Except that when I do this, the victim will be unconscious for a few days. There are fruits in this forbidden forest which are magical and when eaten, they can wake people up from unconsciousness."

"Here, take this book," Ragina's ghost said.

A book dropped from the air and fell on the ground. Nanyine picked it up. She flipped to the page That had the wakeup fruit as the title.

She read it out loud:

The wakeup fruit can rarely be found in papaya trees and mango trees.
