"Hey what's wrong?" asked Joey as Shane walked in the door of his house
"Nothing," he replied quietly sitting down on the couch
"Tell me the truth," Joey replied
"Lisa made me sleep with her," he replied
"What's wrong with that? Aren't you together?" asked Joey
"Not anymore," he replied sadly
"What happened?" Joey asked gently
Shane looked down sadly and didn't reply. He couldn't tell him that he loved him.
"Shane? What happened?" he asked more forcefully
"She recorded something I said that she could hold against me," Shane replied quietly
"Did you get the tape?" Joey asked worriedly
"Yeah," Shane whispered
"Can I hear it?" Joey asked gently
Shane didn't know what to say at all. He couldn't say no but he couldn't let Joey know he loved him.
"Shane? What's on the tape?" Joey asked
"Nothing," Shane whispered
"Shane," Joey said
That's when he broke down. He started crying loudly. Joey tried to calm him down but he just couldn't. Shane handed him the tape recorder and ran to the next room.
Joey pressed the play button and Shane's voice came on.
"So? I'm gay, I love Joey Graceffa," he exclaimed "what are you going to do about it?"
"Just play him this recording," she said
"Huh?" he asked confused
"I'll put this on the Internet and everyone will know you're gay for Joey Graceffa,"
That's when it ended. Joey couldn't believe it though. How could Shane possibly love him? Joey ran to the room Shane was in to find him sobbing on the bed. He sat down next to him and put his arm around him.
"I love you too Shane," Joey admitted
Shane looked up into his eyes to realize he was telling the truth.
"Really?" Shane asked
Joey just nodded. They leaned into each other and kissed. It was only their second kiss but it felt so familiar, in a good way. They stood up together and walked to the living room. Shane sat down on the couch while Joey turned on the tv. He walked back and sat down next to him. Joey reached for his hand and Shane grabbed it. They looked at each other and just smiled.
