Melodies In Time

Chapter 1- Time Fracture

Taeyeon, was always so cheerful. She was also quite busy too, being the leader of her group. No matter what happened, no matter the struggle, she always pushed through and ends it with a smile on her face. Ever since she was little, she had an interest in singing, there was something about it that caught her heart. Every hum, high and low notes made her heart lighten everytime. There was one time, a boy that was singing in the classroom alone, Taeyeon was going to her class to get sheets of paper the teacher had forgotten. As she approach the door, suddenly she stopped... her eyes were brightened, and her heart started to race. She knew this feeling, this feeling she gets when she sings, only it wasn't her.
She approached the small window on the door, as she looked in, she saw his eyes. They were bright and warmth pass through her heart. As he was singing Taeyeon accidentally leaned too much on the door, causing it to slide a little. the boy looked up, and stopped singing... Taeyeon out of embarrassment ran down the hall, a few seconds later when she returned attempting to apologized, he was gone. Leaving only the room, empty with the windows opened, letting wind breeze through the air.

14 years later...

After Taeyeon finish recording for her music video, her agency contacted her, and said that she was able to get a week break. With that she decided to go to a café and relax. After she finished changing, she headed out. Down the busy streets of Seoul, she went into the café and ordered a latte, then sat down at a table near the window. As she put on her headphones there was a sharp ring she hear in her head. Suddenly, her vision blurred, she suddenly recalls a memory of hers, of the boy back in junior high. The melody from back then surged through her head. After she regain her vision, she had that melody in her head... as she hummed it, her heart lifted and warmed up like back then. Unexpectedly, she suddenly teared up, her tears went down her cold cheeks and slowly dropped on the table. She wasn't sure what was going on, she would quickly wipe her tears and left the café.

As she was going back to her place, she accidentally bumped into a young man, quickly she turned to apologize, looking up into his eyes. She pauses, his stare locked into hers, her heart then again experience that same warmth, after that everything suddenly stopped, she was aware of this but her eyes were locked into his, slowly she got lost in his eyes. Suddenly in her head she heard a sound, "tick-tock", as if she was hearing a clock itself, as this sound continued, the song came back and mixed with its melodies, she remembered this song. It was from that young boy... All of a sudden she was aware everything was back to normal. She apologized very quickly. As the young man left, she looked at him, those same melodies, sounds, song suddenly appeared into her head. "Who is he?..." she said. It was just like that time 14 years ago...
