It was just another job, boss said someone snitched, so I had to track em down. But what I didn't know, was this job was going to change my life for the better. I remember the job so vividly that it scares me at times. The snitch was at the old shipyard. I remember the shipyard, because that's where we lost half of the hitmen in a shootout. But hey this isn't history class with mister hitman. I arrived at the shipyard, it was cold, and foggy, and there was a smell of smoke in the air. As I walked towards the first warehouse, I heard the crackling of a fire. I entered the warehouse and heard a faint mumble, I walked across the floor and the noise became louder. I saw a small makeshift hut, I walked towards it, pulled my gun up, and opened the door. What I saw, a woman on the ground trembling. I aimed my gun and said " You the snitch?" She started crying, I started to pull my gun down, then she said something " don't shoot, I'm not worth it, but if you help me I'll help you". I decided to help her up, I led her to my car and sat her in the front seat. I drove her to my home, and I laid her down on my bed. I turn to the kitchen and look back, I see that she has sprung up and had just started trying to walk. I rush over to her and carry her to a chair. While she sat I found my old cane from when I was wounded from the shootout. I gave it to her to walk with, and I felt something I haven't felt in a long time, I felt good about something I did.
