I half saw my brother leaning on my bed, looking at me with red eyes... He looked like he was about to break down right in front of me. I was sleepy and not ready to wake up, but the way he looked at me I knew something was wrong. "What is it?" I asked slowly, feeling a bit numb. He turned his head away, and whispered with a hoarse voice "They're gone Keke... They're.. They're gone.." "What are you talking about?", I didn't understand what he was saying in my drowsy state. "Mom and Dad... They're dead." "What?" His head whipped around to where he was staring straight into my eyes, anger flowing through his words mixed with pain. "THEY'RE DEAD!"
