Ugh,a year of school is over and we are gonna have our prom!
"RYAN?Have you thought of a girl already?" Mom said
"Nope,it's hard...we only have three girls in class"
"Whoops..."
"I mean Five..." I forgot we got two more girls added,Catherine and Monica.
"Well...let's talk about them one by one.So,let's start with Daina,well she looks creative and funny,she is kind though..."
"Yah,she is..."
"How about Ericka?"
"Ericka?Well,she's pretty too...but she's taken by Derrick I don't wanna have prom with a girl that has a boyfriend like him."
"Oh yah,daina too right?"
"Yah with greg."
"How bout the two new girls...."
"They only hangout...only the both of them,so I don't know if they're taken or free,or even their personalities..."
"Oh! ARDEN"
I woke up from that since I was really sleepy and said"uhmmm......well,she's just like a picture...she's worth a thousand words....she is like a sky filled with stars....her eyes are as bright as my future,her smile is as pretty as the sun.....there's too many to say."
My mom was listening carefully and nodded at what I said"you know what son...Imma leave you here and think about it."
I did thought about it...I decided to wait for tomorrow for them to tell their partners...

I waited for them to say who their partners are...it started at the front row.....nine people before mine....there were only five girls so five boys will be chosen.....we were 36 in total...

I looked at RYAN,it was his turn...I noticed a tear that rolled down his face...I whispered,"Ryan?..." I saw him holding his phone and was at the messages..."We are sad to say that,we witnessed a car crash which leads to the name of Luci Higa and Wendall Higa...they were dead at arrival due to loss of blood.We believe that you are their son."
I quickly looked away,his face turned red and grabbed his backpack running to the door and banged it...I followed him and ran as quick as I can...more tears fell down his face...I stopped and left him to calm down for a while...He wasn't angry at me,he was angry at himself...he was shouting"Why?!!! I must be the one! Why them?!...",I went inside the room and didn't mind telling the class of what happened but that still leaves me and RYAN as partners to the prom...

I rushed to the hospital hoping that their bodies are still there.....I saw this doctor coming from the emergency room,"Hey,uhmmmm.......I heard news of two dead people in this hospital....are their bodies still here?" I was hoping for the right names..."oh uhmmm........are you RYAN HIGA?"
"Yes!"
"You're right in time....emergency room is there.....sorry for your loss"
"Thank you..."
I slowly walked inside and looked for them...I noticed mom's arm on a bed next to the second to the last bed..."Hey mom and dad.....I don't know how you got on a car crash and why you were in the car.....but let's talk about that later..." I said while holding her hand...
"Hello Mr........Higa?"
"Oh Uhm....yes ma'am." I said while quickly wiping my tears...
"The car crash happened to be them about to park outside of a clothing shop and buy a formal wear for your prom..."
"It's nice to know that but......what made the both cars crash?"
"Well,it was a truck lost its brake and hit a tree before hitting their car..."
I sat down to relax and wondered about what happened......I got really confused,I also remembered about who my partner is.....who was it again?
