Liam's POV
We were walking on the beach hand-in-hand. Everything was perfect and her blonde hair was billowing slightly from the light breeze. We were barefoot and I had my Chinos rolled up to mid-calf. She was wearing a blue sundress that was ruffling as she walked.
"Liam?" her voice sent my heart fluttering and I looked at her, her blue eyes shining at me.
"Yes?" I ask, turning to face her.
"We've been on three dates now," she smiles, stepping closer to me, "and I want to try something."
"What?" I ask stupidly.
"Stay very still." she whispers, standing on her tiptoes with her hands pressed against my chest. She angles her head slightly and brings her face closer to mine and I let my eyes slide closed, turning my head a bit as well.
I feel my face turn red and sting as a hand connects with my cheek. "Ow!" my eyes shoot open and I see Zayn standing above me, his hand just inches from my throbbing cheek, my phone to his ear. "Phone call." he mouths and I take the phone, rubbing my eyes.
"Hello?" I say sleepily.
"I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" I hear the voice and my dream tidal waves back over me.
"Its Tonya." Zayn 'whispers' and I nod, already having figured out that much.
"I'm calling because you left your wallet on the table."
"Oh. Thanks. I cant pick it up tonight but I can swing by tomorrow morning and pick it up?" I offer, too tired to move more than a few inches.
"I'll be at work tomorrow morning." I can hear the let down in her voice.
"So you can give it to me?" I ask, slightly excited at the prospect of seeing her again.
"No. Not at Le Viv. I work at Starbuck's during the day." she explains
"Oh. Can I get it from you there?"
"Uh. Sure. I work at the Starbuck's by Big Ben. I go on break at 10:15 if you wanna swing by?" I hear what I think is hope in her tone and it causes a smile to light up my whole face.
"Sounds perfect. See you tomorrow?"
"Yeah." she pauses and then yells through the phone. "I'm so sorry!"
"What? What is it?" I let my true concern leap into my voice as I worry about what could've happened.
"Its so late, I'm sorry I woke you."
"No. That's fine. I'm glad you did." I say, rubbing my palm across my forehead as I calm down.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. Thanks." I nod to myself.
"You're welcome. I'll see you tomorrow." she says and I know she must have to get back to work or something or was ready to leave.
"Until then." I say before hanging up.
I smile and fall back onto the duvet, a smile on my face.
"So?" Zayn asks, standing in my doorway with his arms crossed infront of his chest.
"'So' what?" I ask, turning my face towards him.
"What'd she want, mate. You have to give me details."
"You're so vain I swear. I left my wallet on the table and she was calling me so I could get it back, nothing more."
"Oh, do you need me to drive you?"
