Chapter 8

Piper's P.O.V

I get home around 5 o'clock. "Hey love." Liam said from behind the island he was cooking dinner. "Hi." I say. I run upstairs to put my new clothes away and put on my yoga pants and tank top I had on earlier. I thru my hair into a bun and put my mocs on.

"What's for dinner?" I ask. "chicken parm" I nod my head in agreement. I got a text message it read...

From Marcus:

"Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch tomorrow... You know as friends."

Before I reply I ask Liam what he has planned. "Hey li? What do you have planned tomorrow?" I ask. "Umm just a recording at the studio til 12.. Why?" "Erm... Marcus asked if I wanted to go to lunch." I could see Liam tense up, so I continued. "So I'm going but we're only going as friends don't worry." Liam stares at me. He finally says. "Dinners ready." We ate in silence. After dinner I texted Marcus back to tell him that would work.

I can feel my eyes get heavier by the minute and I couldn't take it no more. I turned to Liam and said... "Look if your not gonna talk then I'm going to bed." I walked off to bed. During the night I felt someone get in I ignored it and began falling deeper into my sleep.

*********NEXT MORNING*********

I wake up to warly to get ready for work. Liam is already in the bathroom I quickly take my shower and then get dress into a light blue dress that is shorter in the front and longer in the back, with my brown cow girl boots. I curl my hair and put a bandana around it. I grabbed my phone and a small brown purse.

Me and Liam still weren't talking. So I barley gave him a good bye. I grabbed a pop tart and went to leave. I was really hurt that me and Liam still weren't talking. I hop in the car and zoom off to work. (She works as a clothing designer)

I was finally able to get out on time for my FRIENDLY lunch date with Marcus. I got into the restaurant and spotted Marcus at a table for 2. I walk one fans he greets me with a hug and a "hello love." I greet him back and we sit down.

Once we placed our order I spotted someone or people at the hostess table. It was Liam and Niall. I was so mad. They had for seats right by the bathroom. "Excuse me I'm going to the ladies room." I say excuse myself. I walk right up to the table that held Liam and Niall. "Liam Payne. What are you doing here?" Liam looked scared. "Um..." He sighed. "Piper I just don't like the fact that your having lunch with another guy..." I stood there mad. "Liam you need to trust me. I am sick of you doing this. Have your little lunch but were leaving and to yard not to follow us!" I yell/whispered so that the paps wouldn't see us. I walked away with nothing else to say. "Um Marcus sorry but can we go somewhere else for lunch?" "Yeah sure, actually we can get ice cream." I nod my head.

******FEW HOURS LATER********

I walk into the house and go straight upstairs. I check the time 4 Liam still isn't back yet so I decide on watching tv. I hear a car door close and I see Liam walk in the front door. I ignore his presence and continue watching tv.

"Piper..." He begins. Silence. "Piper, Im sorry! I shouldn't have done that." He said. "You know.. I thought you'd be able to trust me. But from the looks of it I don't think so. Liam I loved you! I wouldn't have done anything to hurt you! Me and Marcus are just friends." He sighs. And I think I see a tear fall from his eyes. "L-Liam are you crying....?" I ask. "No." He says wiping his face. "Clearly you are." I say. He doesn't answer. This time I sigh.
