I come home from school as usual ;go see how dad is doing ,while I'm at school my auntie comes round for a few hours but then has to go. I told him if anything happens call me I'll come straight home.
I go upstairs dads not there
"Where did he go?" I say anxiously
I ran around the house like a head less chicken to find him, finally when I got to my bedroom I saw dad on the floor unconscious he was writing a letter to who? I phoned the ambulance and cried. Before I went to the hospital I picked up the letter he was writing, I would read it while I was in the ambulance . I sat down on the side of the ambulance next to dad ; there was two other paramedics there they said you'll be fine. I said thank you.
I opened up the letter from me pocket and started to read it was for me it said
Dear Carmen,
I know it's been hard for you after you lost your mother when you were little and you had me to look after you. But know your a big girl and you don't need me anymore, I know there still will be a part of you that wants your mum and dad I'm sorry no one can live forever. I have never been able to tell you how proud I am of you . In school winning all those awards for running and in lessons I'm sorry I am just to ill I know you will understand as you are a good person.
