The moon cast down florescent light upon the dank prison, the only sound resonating throughout the tunnels were that of a sweet song. The otherwise eerie atmosphere was enough to drive one insane, but the unsettling aura in which the prison seemed to emanate, did not affect Geisha in the slightest. In fact, she rather enjoyed it. She might as well since she's supposed to spend the rest of her life in this hellhole, or at least she hopes that will change very soon. There weren't many disadvantages to being a sorceress, but given that her species could live to be thousands of years old, lifelong confinement can feel like forever. But there are also plenty of advantages to her incredibly long lifespan, one of them being that it gives her plenty of time to exact revenge on those who did this to her.

Geisha's serene voice carried throughout her cell, her song glancing off the solid rock walls, as they attempted to cage her in. Her confinement contained only three stone walls that stood around eight feet tall and five feet wide, making the enclosure seem overbearing yet small all at once. Adorning the walls were intricate blood red carvings that were etched into the solid rock, swirling together in beautiful patterns, but upon closer inspection, one could see that the design was formed by five distinctive symbols drawn repeatedly. Spirals woven with what appeared to be rain drops, sun shaped circles fused with a herb containing only three petals, all melding seamlessly into one brilliant picture. Where the fourth wall should've been, resided a dozen wrought iron bars running vertically from the cell floor and continued upward until they disappeared into the massive ceiling. Through the bars Geisha could see the night sky and pale moon from where the prison hovered in the clouds, millions of miles above a small planet known as Earth, or at least that was what she was told.

Geisha sat in front of the bars, her delicate legs pushed through the gaps as far as they were able, dangling over the side where the edge dropped away into the endless sky. Her bare feet suspended in air, she restarted the song:

"The first little angel flew too high

The second little angel hit the ground

The third little angel lost his sight

But the last little angel has yet to be found."

Geisha continued to sing, her lilting voice carried away into the warm night, the wind ruffling her hair, the silver strands whispering across her bare shoulders and tickling her back, the skirt of her once brilliant white dress fluttering in the breeze, the silk swaying just above her knees. Geisha gathered the fabric in her fist, bunching up the skirt of her coronation gown. The traditional attire in which she was to be pronounced Sovereign, but of course that hadn't happened. Although it was decades ago, Geisha remembered that day as if it had been just yesterday, the day that changed her life.

Geisha was humming the rest of the lullaby when she felt the floor rumble as the hidden doorway to her cell began to open, indicating she had a visitor. A glowing white line traveled along the wall forming a door out of the hard rock. The slab of stone sunk into the floor, revealing two figures standing in the makeshift entryway. One of the figures she recognized as her personal guard, Holdrum, who was assigned to her cell.

"You...have...visitor" the giant growled, the jagged teeth from his protruding jaw making the words sound muffled and distorted.

She didn't particularly know Holdrum all that well, despite the time she'd spent here. In fact, there were a lot of things she didn't know about half-giants, they weren't exactly interesting, to say the least. The only times she would see him was when he escorted her to the wash rooms, and when she had a visitor, which wasn't often, but the brute rarely spoke. No matter where she went , the hulking half-giant followed. Geisha presumed that he was there to intimidate her and deter her from escaping, not like that's going to stop her. Whereas most individuals would find Holdrum terrifying, he didn't faze her.
