I just TALKED to her boyfriend

New Teacher

I didn't go to school for the next two consecutive days and I was losing lectures and schoolwork...not that I want those or had the slightest bit of interest in it.

I was just worried about my grades.

I entered the first class, which was English, no one noticed me and I sat in the middle of the room on a double bench as every other bench was filled up.

Lucky me.

Note the sarcasm.

As Mr Guillermo was absent for god knows what reason, a proxy teacher came in who was surely nervous.

He wiped his forehead with his palm and took deep breaths. And after a while, as he regained his composure, he started scribbling something down in capital letters in a messy handwriting.

As he held his arm up to write on the board, I couldn't help but notice that he had enormous sweat patches on his armpits.

Gross...just gross.

A few other students stifled their laughter because they had probably seen it too.

For some reason, I felt bad for the poor guy.

Who would want to teach a class of 15 and 16 year olds?

"BRANDON SMITH"

He finally managed to write.

Sheesh.

After the awkward introductions, he gave us a small smile.

"I know that your other teacher- Guillermo- I think, couldn't teach you guys properly. So, the school especially offered me to teach this years batch, considering the fact that you guys got the lowest grades in the past exams."

"So, I'll be taking your English classes from now on."

He finishes, I look around me to see a couple of ashamed faces, focusing on their desks and keeping quiet.

The new Brandon guy cleared his throat.

"So...as its my first day and all, take a break guys. We'll start from tommorow."

I was liking the guy already.

I know that this was kinda like a filler chapter, but good stuff is gonna happen later.
