No Air

Stephanie's POV

Every time Paul looks at me I get weak in the knees and I lose my breath.I want to spend every moment of every day with him.He is the one I can see myself with for the rest of my life.He knew how to take my breath away from me and I did't mind.

It's been six weeks since our first time being intimate and I haven't been feeling well.I need to get to the doctor.Would he even want to be with me after what we find out from the doctor?He may never love me again.I needed to know before we go to the doctors."Paul?"I say."Yes Stephanie"he says back looking at me."Would you still love me if I ended up pregnant?"I ask him."What kind of question is that?"he asks me."I need to know.I haven't felt well in the past few weeks"I tell him."Let's go to the doctor's Stephanie"he tells me.

Paul's POV

Here we are sitting here in an exam room waiting on the doctor to come in so we can have the result.A few minutes later the door opens and in walks the doctor and his nurse with a laptop.They sit down and the doctor turns to Stephanie and tell her that she was pregnant.She started to cry as she looked at me."How do I tell my father?"she asks me."We will tell him together"he tells me."And if the baby isn't yours?"she asks me."We will raise the baby together as if it is"I tell her.

The doctor tells hands her three papers.One was for the pharmacy,one for the lab,and one for a sonogram to see how far along she was.He then tells us that we are free to go and exits with his nurse.I help Stephanie off the exam table and we leave the room.We stop at reception and get Stephanie's next appointment.We leave the doctor's office and head over to my car.As I open her car door I hear scuffing behind us.We turn to come face to face with Vince."Daddy I can explain"she says to him."Why aren't you here with Andrew?"Vince asks her."I couldn't get a hold of him.So I asked Paul to bring me in.I have been sick for weeks now daddy"she says to him."I can handle this from here on"he says to me."I have this.We are just friends boss"I tell him.Just then Stephanie walks over to the grass area and throws up.I walk over behind her and hold her hair back.I see Vince getting mad and walk off."I'm sorry that I got you in this mess"she says to me."We are in this until the end Stephanie"I tell her."My dad is gonna be mad if it ends up to be your baby"she tells me."We can move to another state if he doesn't approve.If that baby is mine I want us to get married"I say to her."What do i tell Andrew?"she asks me."We be honest with him"I tell her.
