Chapter one

Talia pov
I wake up to my sister saying
"Come on someone is coming to adopted one of us"
I pull the blankets over my face and say
"They won't pick us"
"Yea they will please get ready"
"Fine" I say kicking off the blankets
She hugs me then runs downstairs I pull out a black beanie a red shirt and black skinny jeans, and I pull on my red converse. I walk downstairs and see my sister on her phone. I grab it and ask
"When are they coming"
"The lady said at 2"
"And its 1" I say
I sit down next to her and start playing piano tiles 2, I love that game. When I was in the middle of playing the door dinged which signaled that someone just walked through the door. I didn't care I just kept playing. Then I heard someone say
"Hi"
I missed the note and I look up and see Da Kurlzz
"H-hi"
Tomika looked at me and smiles I look at her then back at kurlzz
"What's your name" he asked sitting next to me
"Um Talia"
"Beautiful name"
"Thanks"
"And how old"
"15"
"Cool"
I look at Tomika and she said
"That's my sister"
"Really" kurlzz asked looking at her
"Yea I'm Tomika and I'm 14"
"Awesome"
I look over and see the rest walk in.
"So are you adopting one of us"
"Yea hold on"
Kurlzz gets up and walks towards the guys. I look at Tomika who looked like she was freaking out inside. I look at Kurlzz and the rest as they talk then I see Kurlzz and J walk up to us.
"So..." I asked looking at Kurlzz
"Um I'm going to adopt you and J is going to adopt Tomika"
Me and Tomika look at each other and smile.
"I mean is that ok" asked j
"Of course" Tomika says looking at J
I stand up and hug kurlzz, so does Tomika but she hugs j. We let go and they walk to the desk and talk to the lady. Charlie and Johnny walk to us. Charlie says
"Ok let's Go pack"
Me and Tomika nod and lead them upstairs and they help us pack. When we were done the boys take our stuff downstairs to the car and j walks up to Tomika and says
"Vanessa is your mom"
"Ok"
I hug kurlzz and we walk outside to the bus. I walk in first and the rest pile in Kurlzz sits down on the couch and says
"Ok we have a concert in Chicago"
"Ok let's go" Funny said sitting next to Kurlzz
I look at the couch and sit down then we started to drive to the airport. I look at the mess all around me I look at Tomika and she nods. We both stand up and start cleaning.
"Woah woah what are you going" charlie said walking into where we were
"Cleaning we can't stand a mess" I said as me and Tomika cleaned
Johnny laughs and grabs a beer from the mini fridge.
***10 minutes later***
"All done" I said sitting next to Funny
"Hey where is Danny" Tomika asks sitting next to J
"Oh um...yea where is he" kurlzz said looking around
"IM IN MY BUNK ASSHOLES" danny yelled
I laugh and walk to him
"Are you alive"
"Of course....and who are you"
"You weren't there when they adopted me"
"Oh yea never mind"
I chuckle and walk to Kurlzz and sit next to him. After a while I got tired so I fell asleep leaning against kurlzz.

I wake up and see Kurlzz carrying me.
"How long was I asleep"
"For 2 hours"
"Hmm seemed longer"
I put my face in his chest and listen to his heart beat and I fall asleep.

I wake up In a plane and I see J sitting next to me.
"Hi j"
"Wassup" he said looking down at his phone
I pull out my phone and look at the notifications from Facebook. I put away my phone and I sit up. "Ow"
"What happened" asked kurlzz looking at me worried
"Its ok dad"
"You sure"
I nod at him and smile.
"No something's wrong what is it" kurlzz said looking at me worried still
I look at Tomika and she nods
"Ok its my back story"
"Ok I'm listening"
I make myself comfortable and say
"Ok well my mom, Tomika and me were in the living room doing stuff and my dad was gone. After two hours our dad came back and he was drunk. He walks to me and slaps me and I hit my side on a table edge and its hurt ever since that day"
J looks at me and kurlzz says
"Sorry...I promise I will never be like that....and I promise I will never....I mean never smack you if I do I don't know what would happen....I'll just give up."
I look at kurlzz and I start to tear up. I cuddle up in kurlzz arms and sleep.

I wake up in kurlzz arms again but I jump out if his grip and see that we are walking to our tour bus. I get on the bus and it smelled clean and it was very clean, and everything was softer and better.
"Jesus its clean and better" Tomika said sitting on the couch
"Yep dad come let's find a bunk" I said while walking to the bunks
"Ok I guess"
Ever since kurlzz became my dad everything changed. I lay down in a bunk and it was super soft.
"Dad this one"
"Ok" he said while taking off his shoes
I slip off my shoes and put them by his.
"Hey Talia"
"Yea" I look at Danny
"How old are you"
"Um why"
"Just cause"
"Ok...15"
He gets on the phone and tells someone im 15. I sit on the couch next to J and Johnny while we were driving. I lean against Johnny then my phone buzzed. I looked at the caller ID it was unknown.
"Hey guys I'll be back"
I walk to the back of the bus and I answer
"Hello?"
"Hi Talia I'm Alex"
"Hi do I know you"
"No"
"Ok then bye"
I hang up and put my phone away and walk towards the boys. I next to J and Johnny again and I lean against Johnny and I fall asleep.

I wake up in mine and my dads bunk and I looked at the time it said 4:40.
"Oww!!"
"TALIA"
I get out if the bunk and I fall down.
"And they called me the lucky one"
I laughed and I fell to my side that didn't hurt.
"Talia are you ok"
"No" I said starting to cry
"Where are the boys" I asked while she put me on the couch
"Oh they are doing there concert"
"OW"
"sorry"
"Not you my side.....its never hurt like this before"
"Want me to tell Kurlzz when he gets back"
"Oh god tell him now"
"His in the middle of a concert"
"JUST TELL HIM" I yelled while tears were streaming down my face
"Ok"
She runs out of the bus, and my vision turns blurry
"TOMIKA" I yelled as loud as I could
A security guard runs in and he asks
"Are you ok"
"No I need my dad"
"Who is he"
"Kurlzz"
He nods and speaks into a ear piece
"Ok the concert is almost over"
"Ok"
One of my eye vision turned black. I could only see out of one eye
"DAD"
The security guard Carrys me backstage and I see Tomika sitting on a couch
"Jesus Talia what happened"
"I can see out of one eye WHERE IS MY DAD"
The security guard puts me down and speaks into the ear piece again
"Ok the concert is over"
I look at the steps leading to the stage and I fall down on my side that didn't hurt. Tomika picks me up and sets me on the couch.
"Kurlzz"
"What....wait Talia are you ok"
I could only see him everything else was gone.
"Dad I need a hospital"
"What"
"I---"
Everything turned black
"DAD I CANT SEE"
"Oh god"
I could feel arms wrapped around me like someone was carrying me. I couldn't see who though.
"TAKE US TO A HOSPITAL DAMN IT"
I get set on a very soft thing and I heard someone unfamiliar
"Its alright"
"WHO'S THAT"
"It's fine...its my brother Alex"
"Who's"
"Danny's"
"Oh"
I feel arms wrap around me again and I hear them panting
"Are you running"
"Yes Talia we have to hurry"
I hear him say
"I need a doctor about my daughter"
"Dad"
"Yes"
"Its fine"
"No its not fine your side is bleeding and you said everything was black"
I heard a girl
"Talia"
"Who's that"
"Its me Sky"
"Sky where are you"
"No need it's fine"
"Ok"
I get put down on a soft and kinda hard bed I think. I heard someone say
"Talia this is Dr. Jones"
"Hey"
"Can you see me"
"No"
He asks a lot of questions and I answer them with the truth.

Tomika pov
"How is she" I asked kurlzz as he walked through the bus door
"She is in surgery the doctor said she might be blind"
"How"
He shrugs and J walks in to where we were.
"Why do you have blue hair"
"I like blue"
"Ok"
I sit on the couch and pull out my tablet and I start to watch a movie on Netflix. Then I get a call from unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Hey Tomika"
"Who's this"
"Sorry I'm your mom Vanessa"
"Oh hi"
"Hi..so are you ok"
"Yea I'm fine"
"You sure"
"Not really"
"What's wrong"
"My sister may be blind"
"Uh oh"
"Yea...hey I gotta go bye"
"Bye sweetheart"
I hang up and say to my dad
"I like Vanessa"
"Well technically your mom"
"Yea"
I get up and walk to mine and my dads bunk and fall asleep.
