The journey to school was silent, it wasn't like one of those comfortable silences, it was more like one of those awkward silences. I tried to make conversation but all Josh did was turn up the radio and continued to drive. I wasn't going to let Josh ruin my day. I closed my eyes and listened to the radio, tapping my hands to the beat of the music.
Josh tapped me so that I would know that we were close to school. We drove into the car park everybody stared at us, it was like being on a red carpet. When we got out of the car I was forced to act like josh's "girlfriend". We walked into the building hand in hand acting like the happy couple everyone thought we were, I hugged him goodbye and we went out separate ways.
I went to meet Kadisha and Jassie in our normal meeting place (my locker.) Kadisha and Jassie are my best friends. I have known jassie nearly all my life and I met Kadisha at high school. Jassie had wavy blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes, she has a great body shape and her outfits really compliment her. Kadisha on the other hand had jet black hair, her eyes are a really dark brown and so is her skin colour.(she never had to worry about a tan like the rest of us.) she also has an amazing body shape. From the description on how they looked I bet you can guess why they are so popular and why everybody wants to be like them.
"Hey" I said once I had seen Kadisha.
"Hey" she replied.
"where's jassie?"
"I am not sure" I could tell she was lying by the way she was looking down at the floor. I knew something was up but I refused to say anything. I just kept my cool.
"come on lets go to the toilet to check my make up"
As I started walking I saw josh and jassie. Together.
